Welcome to a backyard getaway that will drop your mouth in awe. Kinda like "GLAMPING" but better!Has heat and Air .Unique, corky but a great place to relax and put your feet up in the hammocks inside. Must be able to climb a 6 foot ladder to get to loft to sleep. Can come to the main house to go to the bathroom or use the best compost toilet ever attached to your getaways space. Kitchen area if needed in wine area to use. Firepit and grill to use for cooking also. A place like no other!

Our goal is to provide a true pioneer experience with just a bit of comfort added. 1880 Norwegian Settlers Cabin is not modernized, attached barn has been rebuilt into uninsulated screen porch. Cabin has great old iron bed, loft has twin bed, screened in porch has day bed. Private modern bath included.

Stay in a real brewery built in 1891 where they brewed the Hauenstein beer until 1969. Remodeled in the rustic industrial style of the era, rent the lower level with 2 romantic rooms, a parlor, coffee bar and one bathroom. No kitchen. The private upper garden has a fire pit, cellar and dining area surrounded by forest and fire-flies. The building is surrounded by an underground creek, so it stays cool naturally (no AC needed). It’s a 7 min walk to Schell’s brewery & 4 min drive downtown.

As ofJuly 1, 2021 we moved into this beautiful Lakeside home. The AIRBNB is NOT our entire home but it is the entire lower level which is our home. Gorgeous, private lakeside views. It is spacious with a private entrance if suitable, large kitchenette, family room, dining room, 2 bedrooms, bath/shower full bathroom. Lakeside access. There is complete privacy with a Barn Door closure.
