Unique living space attached to our covered riding arena. Approx 1500 sf area with plenty of parking in a very rural area close to hiking and swimming or rock climbing at Hanging Rock State Park, and Pilot Knob, as well as floating the Dan River or just relaxing watching the horses play in the paddock, enjoying roasting hot dogs or smores over the fire pit. Private property on our farm with many amenities, including Wi-Fi, full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, gym available. Very relaxing place!

We had a wonderful stay as we started our journey to explore the Shenandoah National Park’s Skyline Dr and after our stay- started our trek along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cottage was simply amazing. I do believe we took advantage of every amenity that they offered. Definitely take the walk to the top of the hill …… the view will astonish you. This is some of the most beautiful countryside I have ever seen in our great Nation. We will be back !!!!!

Our stay at Snow hill farm guest house was wonderful. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and beautiful scenery. Lee is a very responsive host. On the first night we wanted to use the grill but it was out of propane. I messaged Lee and he had a new tank on before I even realized it(within 15 minutes) I never saw him replace it! Our other host Jacki took the time to mow a fenced in area on the farm so that our dogs would have a place to run without being leashed. Overall a great experience.

We had an exceptional stay at Big Springs! Durwood & Teresa are great hosts. We love Highland county so much, making this our favorite air bnb trip yet! We enjoyed the peacefulness of the property and enjoyed hanging out with our dogs. We spent our weekend hiking and breaking snow on many trails. On the last night there we lost power and Durwood & Teresa came right over and help ensure the gas fire was on for heat. We will be back in the near future:) Thank you soo much for the hospitality.

Everything was great! Very relaxing, private in the country. Everything you needed was within 15-30 minutes away. Very close to the mountains for hikes, historic areas and the Virginia Scenic Railway train ride in Staunton, Va. The train was an hour drive, but you see a lot of the area either by back country roads or interstate. Host had lots of pamphlets, books and other information for your stay, good if you have never been to the area. Enjoyed the Shenandoah area again.

Beautiful apartment with thoughtful touches everywhere! Super helpful hosts. So lovely to enter and find a bottle of local wine and locally baked goodies. Comfy robes, plenty of towels. The location features an amazing view of the Blue Ridge. We loved sitting by the fish pond with some wine and enjoying the rolling hills.

We enjoyed our stay in a very well kept cabin with breathtaking views. The cute farm animals were a bonus! I have recommend it to some friends and family already! K&E's communication was great and we had a very pleasant stay. The maple syrup is wonderful as well definitely recommend getting some from their farmstand.

We loved our stay at Shelley’s place! We have stayed at a lot of airbnbs and this is our favorite! It was super clean, comfortable and the views are gorgeous!! I loved waking up each morning to mountains. The kids loved getting to meet the horses and animals on the property. Shelley let them walk and brush them which was the highlight of the trip. They’re still talking about how they miss the horses. There is also a creek nearby on the property - they enjoyed looking for frogs and fish. Shelley gave many recos on places to eat and visit and the place is very convenient to hiking, breweries and wineries. We had a wonderful family vacation and hope to be back someday!

I had a wonderful stay at Chris and Sandy’s farm guesthouse. It was very easy to find and exceeded my expectations. They were the best hosts and I would definitely return. I especially loved feeding the donkey, Jasper. Sandy and Chris went out of their way to make it feel like home for us. Thanks again for the Yoder’s icecream recommendation, we loved seeing the free petting zoo.
