We really enjoyed our stay at Amy’s beach house. The location could not be beat. The beach was peaceful with hardly any other people around us. There was plenty of space in the house, and we were able to cook a lot of our meals there. They provided plenty of towels and serving ware for our big group. There were a few minor issues we addressed with Amy and she was very responsive. The main thing was the deck was a little run down and many of us got splinters throughout the week. But overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Amy’s home to anyone looking for a peaceful beach trip with such a short walk (and only a few stairs) down to the beach.

Staying at this Airbnb felt like a true escape. The location couldn't have been better – being mere steps from the beach was such a treat, allowing for spontaneous walks and the calming sound of the waves. It was wonderful to find such a genuinely dog-friendly place; my pups absolutely loved it, which made the stay even more enjoyable for me. The entire atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and I found the off-season to be a particularly lovely time to visit, with beautiful weather and a sense of peacefulness. The property itself had everything I could possibly need, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable. Amy was fantastic – always communicative and helpful, ensuring a smooth and easy stay. While there were plenty of options for things to do in the area, I also appreciated the opportunity to simply unwind and work remotely in such a serene setting. The upper deck was my favorite spot for getting sun many hours of the day. I’ve stayed in many airbnbs and this is a favorite!

Perfect location. Everything was clean and it was well-stocked. Check-out instructions were extremely minimal, it was nice to not feel like we had to spend hours leaving like some other places. It is right next to a public beach access, so there was a lot of foot traffic, but the people moved on quickly and settled further down the beach. I wish there were screens in the windows so that we could have opened them, but the sliding door does have a screen which was nice. The owner was very responsive and friendly. We really enjoyed ourselves!

We had a fantastic stay at Michelle’s place. The house and amenities exceeded our expectations. Having rented quite a few places in the Topsail/Surf City area, my wife and I agreed that this was a top favorite. Will certainly look here for future stays.

We had the best beach vacation at Kristin’s place. The house was just as described and very well stocked with just about everything we needed for a great stay. The kitchen was one of best for folks like us who cook most meals - plenty of pots and pans, utensils, and lots of dishes. Beds were all super comfy. And the use of the beach towels, chairs, sun shades and toys were WONDERFUL saving us precious packing space in the car. Kristin was very helpful with all my questions. 10 out of 10! Next time we are headed to the beach, this is the first place I will try to book. Thank you!

The condo was the perfect vacation spot for a couple and our 3 kids. Love the upstairs space & decor. Pool and beach were walking distance. The beach was clean. The area was not overly crowded. Private entrance, safe. Would recommend for a family! Chris was also very responsive & helpful. Thanks for a great family vacation!

I greatly enjoyed my island adventure. The captains to get you on and off of the island were great. Questions were answered immediately. The bed was comfortable and the setting was what I needed. It is Glamping in a small cabin and the weather greatly affects the experience. . If you are not pretty self sufficient this is not the airbnb for you, but if you are and need a place to get your head together and leave the world behind this is a perfect place. Pack plenty of ice and anything you would take camping. I enjoyed the kayaks and the access to crabbing pot. Thanks for a great experience.

Christine Anne and Bill were great hosts. Their place was comfortable with an outside deck. The location was off the beaten path in a beautiful setting on the river. It was an easy drive to Oriental, a small town with a variety of restaurants and a coffee shop. We enjoyed our respite in the carriage house.

This was our third time staying here, and it never disappoints. The location is perfect with easy access to the beach—just a short walk and you're there! The space is cozy and welcoming, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. It's our favorite beach, and the kids absolutely love the pool. Always a relaxing, enjoyable stay—we'll definitely be back again!

We had a great time at Rachel's condo, the place was amazing and is better than the listing shows.

Wife and I have been to Emerald Isle for the past 30+ years…Diane’s Dream is the most amazing accommodation in my opinion with a magnificent view of the ocean, well appointed kitchen and amenities, texts to check on you to see if you having the most enjoyable time and available to check in when told! Would give more than 5 stars but that’s the most I could give! Highly recommended!

This was our 2nd time visiting Topsail Dunes, and Kara and Kim's place did not disappoint. The unit is exactly as pictured, is thoughtfully stocked with most things you need, and is a paradise away from home. There really are beach chairs waiting for you, a beach umbrella and anchor...you don't need to pack all that stuff. There are plenty of dishes, and enough cookware for anything we wanted to whip up. The washer/dryer are a major plus! The view and breeze from this 3rd floor unit are breathtaking. And, you will not ever get tired of the sounds of the waves rolling in. The hosts? Fabulous communication, friendly as can be, really seem to love sharing their place and it shows. I highly recommend this unit and these hosts. Kara and Kim, thank you! We will be back. Also, don't overlook the freedom of scheduling. Some hosts restrict you to Saturday-to-Saturday rentals. We were able to do 8 nights and would do it again! Thanks Kara & Kim!

We loved this place. It was clean, comfortable, it had everything that we needed, it’s walking distance to nice places to eat and drink, that are right on the water and it has a pool!!!

This is a special place - relaxing, peaceful, beautiful and accommodating. Everything was just as described and the pictures accurately represent the property. Fully stocked kitchen, crock pot and all. The space is nicely appointed and there were several places inside and outside the home our group of 9 could easily congregate. Incredible location, you really don’t even need to leave the house. We would love to visit again.

Loved staying at Bee and Joe’s place! Beautiful home with beautiful ocean views! Close and easy access to the beach. Convenient to go back and grab a snack or anything else when needed. Well stocked with supplies to get you started. They send timely messages with needed information for check in and check out, and are quick to respond when messaged. Perfect beach vacation! We had an amazing time at this beautiful oasis. The commute to the beach was absolutely amazing and the amenities were worth all of the money spent. We have already booked our stay for next year! Thank you for hosting a wonderful trip for my husband and I. The porch was our favorite spot!!

Amazing stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described, everything we needed was right there. It felt like a home away from home. We unexpectedly had trouble with our truck not starting, and the host went above and beyond by allowing us to leave it there until it could be towed. She was incredibly responsive, kind, and understanding throughout the whole situation. That kind of hospitality made a huge difference in our trip. We felt completely taken care of. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an stress-free, comfortable place to stay!

Penny’s place was absolutely amazing! From the minute we walked in the door it exceeded our expectations! The home is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean and fully stocked with all you need for a family beach vacation. Penny was very responsive with any questions we had and gave many great recommendations for places to eat and shop. Would highly recommended her home and we hope we can come back very soon!

We had a great family vacation with our kiddos! The house is exactly as described and as shown in the pictures. The outdoor shower and easy access to the beach were perfect! We instantly felt at home and Ronnie was a great host. Would recommend this spot to anyone wanting a relaxing, low-key, beach vacation.

This was the perfect house for a beach getaway! It was clean, comfortable, and perfect location to the beach. We would 100% go back again, and loved every minute of our stay!

The house was exactly as pictured & Beata was so friendly & easy to communicate with. The house was very clean (by far the most clean pet-friendly home we have stayed in). You would have no idea it was pet friendly if you were traveling without four legged children. We can’t wait to return next year!

Our family had a wonderful time. Being right on the ocean was perfect- our young grandchildren were able to play & enjoy time on the beach then easily go in for snacks or naps without having to pack everything up each time. Beautiful & peaceful setting.

not a fan of stairs but was a beautiful rental with great view. not close to much but still convenient for price. would love to come back.
