Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Isumi

It was close to my daughter's tennis game venue, so I used this. I was worried when I booked for the first time, but the host was very polite and I was relieved before my stay. The room is as pictured and very beautiful. There were 5 adults, but I was able to stay comfortably. We would like to stay again when we go to Shirako.

The response was smooth and I was able to use it without stress. Thank you very much.

We arrived really early and needed to leave our luggage at airbnb before our check in time and our host was very accommodating.

The most beautiful and largest place we've stayed in Japan. Slept carefree and enjoyed the peace and the sea before we had to take our flight home. Rie and Mark were super helpful, two beautiful people! Thank you for the fantastic stay and the super tasty homemade muffins. Love Flore and Jannes 🌸

Thank you so much for having us. It was really convenient taking the subway to Shiinamachi or walking to Ikebukuro. The place was clean and easy to use.

Wonderful hosts! I cannot say that enough. We were picked up and dropped off at the station coming from Narita. The house is just as you see in the photos and everything is well taken care of. Whenever we had concerns or questions, there we had a response. For a big trip internationally, the recommendations were well received and the hosts helped us with travel and figuring out where to get on the train and how to get around. Facilities inside were great. Air conditioning with fans. Washer was available to use. Just a notice for potential lookers. I guess you could say we were in the 'suburbs' of Tokyo. Travel is a little longer than usual by train but we adapted well and planned around that. There are stairs up to the main floor. A little narrow, so if you are okay with that, then this is a great place to stay. Just make sure you follow house rules and you will have a great time. I have no real negatives to say.

Pencil House is centrally located. It’s a 5 minute walk to Hatsudai station, then just one stop to Shinjuku station (15/20 minute walk from Pencil House). Plenty of space in the house for our family of 4. We were all jet lagged the first couple of days and it was helpful to be able to move around without waking everyone else up. Great to have access to a full kitchen & a washer too. There’s a 7 eleven and a delicious yakitori restaurant only a short block away. Tracey & Ash were super responsive and had all household supplies fully stocked. Ash picked us up from Narita and drove us to the house. We all felt right at home! We had a lovely stay. The Accomodation was really comfortable, the apartment very well equipped and well presented. It had everything you need and it felt like Yume had paid great attention to detail and was really invested in making anyone’s stay comfortable. It felt fresh, clean and very well maintained. It is within very easy walking distance to the station and a 7-Eleven, bakery and restaurants. The neighbourhood has a nice feel to it too. The stairs are steep inside the apartment but that is standard for Japan. The apartment is very spacious by Japanese standards. All in all a very good stay. Thank you.

Great value and convenient. Though i would suggest travellers to bring their own towels s these were not provided. Overall, it’s a pleasant stay especially this close to city centre at this price.

Smaller than expected, but in great location to visit senso ji temple.

Perfect place quiet and close to trains to get to activities. Bakery next door is a must visit any time of day. Enjoy

Excellent AirBnB for families (our party had 4 adults, 1 toddler and 1 infant) looking for a reasonably accessible location. Nice and cosy apartment exactly as described. Heaters were functional and we were nice and cosy despite the cold weather outside. Bathwater nice and warm. Laundry machine and dryer were a godsend. Kitchen was well equipped though we only used it to make instant noodles and reheat food. Our toddler loved the toys. Sleep was peaceful and the surroundings were not noisy at all. Reasonably accessible to Nishi-shinjuku even with a loaded stroller. There's one convenience store that's incredibly near (probably less than 30 seconds away!), and another down the road too. Letitia (Tia) was an amazing host; responsive, friendly, meticulous, thoughtful and helpful. Check in was a breeze at the agreed-on timing and location for meetup. Overall strongly recommend! It was very spacious after hitting a Japanese house. There were two beds and a kitchen, so it was easy to eat. It was raining and cold, but the heating worked well. It was nice that the bathroom and bathtub were separated. I used the bathtub a lot. The host is very kind and answers within 10 minutes. I'll use it again next time if it's okay.

Great location if you want to be in the mix of the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. Super short walk to Shibuya crossing with plenty of restaurants and stores surrounding. Can be very noisy at night so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Apartment is clean and just as pictured. Check-in was easy and smooth as host provides detailed instructions. Was a good choice for our stay to be near tourist attractions and the train stations for public transport.

Jang was very responsive. Location was wonderful with shops and restaurants right outside of property.

We stayed at Sho's place all 5 days we were visiting Tokyo. Going around all day in busy areas, and then coming back to Yotsuya and our quiet neighborhood, and EXTREMELY comfortable bed, was the perfect situation. The counterspace in the bathroom is great, even for two people, and the AC is very effective. Highly recommend Sho's spot. The neighborhood is gorgeous, quiet, and has plenty of places to stock up on everyday needs, the place itself is all-around a fantastic home base for your trip, and Sho is the kindest host.

Very close to Yamamote line for the main activities, apartment clean and confortable

I was very satisfied with this stay, the room was clean, fully equipped, and comfortable to stay in.The location is also convenient, you can walk to the subway station in 5 minutes, and there is a supermarket nearby (about 2 minutes walk) and the living function is good.About 10 minutes on foot you can also go to life supermarket near the skytree, which is easy to pick up.Responding to messages was also quick, reassuring, and overall a great stay, and a chance to want to stay again afterwards!

A great location, near a lot of useful train lines. Great for exploring Tokyo. Lots of good restaurants around, many place open late. A 7-11 a block away. It was a solid location The space was ok for our family, 2 adults and one toddler. One bedroom has a real bed (our toddler used it). The other two beds are convertible chairs, though they are large enough (I am 6’3”), they were not very comfy. Sleep-able but not comfy. The main room has a dining table. It was fine The kitchen was nice and had all the dishes needed for a short stay. Washing machine worked well as long as you don’t fill it too much. The bathroom was nice and large with a shower and large tub. Over all we were very happy. It was a large space (for Tokyo) and the location was awesome

Very convenient spot to stay if you want to be a quick ride away from Shinjuku and in the heart of Okubo. We could quickly get around town, 20 minute walk to our favorite spots, or 5-10 minutes to a few subway lines. This place is great if you plan on mostly being outside touring, it is pretty compact but worked great for us.

We loved staying here! The neighborhood (Gotanda) has lots of shops and restaurants nearby yet is not as touristy or crowded as other parts of Tokyo. 5 min walk to the metro and JR station made it very convenient. The apartment had 3 separate mini-split AC units so each bedroom and the living room could be adjusted to fit preference. It was also very clean and well-stocked with the essential supplies. Bryan even stocked the fridge with an assortment of drinks for our arrival. That was a nice personal touch. He met with us upon check-in to go over the equipment and answer any questions. He also gave great recommendations for restaurants which we tried them all out. Overall, very happy with having stayed here and can't wait to return.

Hitomi took amazing care of me and my daughter while we were her guests! She sent us a detailed list of recommendations for the neighborhood including kid-friendly highlights. When my daughter needed to go to the doctor, she sent a list of clinics. She also helped me ship some luggage to make my train trip easier. She was an incredible host, always going above and beyond. A cozy place in a quiet neighbourhood. There are two subway stations nearby so commuting was a breeze. The apartment was exactly as described. The washroom was clean and efficient and having two toilet seats really helped, though fitting into the smaller toilet needed some gymnastics. Though portrayed as two bedrooms, it’s impossible to fit the second bed in the kitchen cum dining area. If there are three of you then everyone has to sleep in the same room. There were small niggles like bedside lamp not working and a bedside table drawer coming off. Easily checked sorted before guests arrive. The balcony definitely needs scrubbing. Overall a nice, pleasant and peaceful stay. Mathew is doing a great job. This place is highly recommended.
