It was lovely staying at Nicola’s place … the house was nice and comfortable with all the essentials stocked that one needs . Nicola was very helpful, friendly and clear in all her communication … the location is quite good …. while the house itself provides full privacy in a beautiful green peaceful surrounding … it is quite conveniently located for exploring Mayo … will not hesitate to come back when back in area .. The place is lovely, looking out onto trees and greenery with mountains in the background. The place had everything I needed for a 2 week stay, and the walks around the local area are beautiful. The cabin is quite close to the road which is busy, and so there is quite a bit of road noise which drowns out the sound of the babbling brook so idealically murmuring next to the cabin. Bathroom is small but totally functional. What I thought was an oven in the photos was a microwave but the kitchen is functional. Had a spacious feeling inside, the host and her sister are beautiful and generous. I was able to do my laundry at the Old Rectory. A beautiful and much enjoyed time. The bus to Westport is easy to catch so its simple to get around without a car. Recommend this cute little cabin

Aidan took our request for a last minute booking and had the house ready for checkin within an hour. The location is great and only a short drive to Westport. The views of the lake and countryside were absolutely beautiful. The house is amazing inside and out, clean and stocked with all of the essentials. We will be returning in the near future 100%. Aidan was very friendly and welcoming as well as his lovely Wolfhounds! Looking forward to my next visit!
