Monthly Rentals in Island of Ortigia

Beautiful quiet apartment. Incredibly clean. Many extras such as tea, sugar, coffee etc; lots of pots and pans for cooking; extra toilet paper, shampoo, bathroom supplies (cotton swabs, makeup remover pads, etc). Loved the 80’s records and record player! Upstairs terrazzo was lovely, comfortable, and had an outdoor kitchen. Close to cafes, restaurants, shops, grocery store, and a few minutes to the outdoor market. Thanks for a great stay, Stefania!

We had a wonderful week at Yolande's apartment. The apartment is perfect for two couples. It has plenty of room for different activities. The view from the terrace is second to none. For breakfast and evening togetherness, the terrace was set, as far as the weather allowed it. The apartment is centrally located in an extremely lively area of Ortigia. Everything is within walking distance. In addition to Yolande's fantastic apartment, in front of everyone, the impressive old town of Ortigia and the great food will stay in the restaurants. Thank you, Yolande, for the wonderful time we had in your apartment.

Enrica's place is the perfect location for visiting Ortigia. Everything is literally right out the door and you can walk to anywhere on the peninsula in 5-10 minutes. There is also city bus #106 (1,50 euros) that can connect you to the main bus terminal. Enrica advised Interbus from Catania Airport and it worked fine. We took the train back which was also easy. She was so nice and communicated with us quickly and before we asked. She provided all of the amenities as listed but also a warm welcome package with treats to go with coffee and some fresh fruit. The shower has good pressure and plenty of hot water. The bed and bedding were comfortable. Be aware that Ortigia is very old with good nightlife... I had no problem sleeping with earplugs. The listing describes the stairs up to the apartment and they are well lighted and easy to navigate. This was a superior stay for the two of us and we will stay here again next time in Ortigia! 5 stars Enrica (and Chiara), Thanks!

What a fantastic place! We chose the apartment for the balcony which is a real hit! Sitting here with a glass of wine and watching the sunset is Sicily at its best! But the rest of the apartment is as good. Well furnished, everything well maintained and Salvatore was really helpful for all the questions we could ask. Just minutes away from the main square and the Duomo, you’re right in the middle of Ortigia and all the life that’s going on there. We felt like we had lived here forever right from day one. Highly recommended!
