Vacation rentals with a patio in Island Bay

Katie’s place is quiet, clean and equipped with all the kitchen essentials so we could either eat at restaurants or at home. Great walking tracks close by. Katie was great to communicate with. A great stay.

Marykate was an excellent host. We arrived early and she went out of her way to meet us and make sure we were comfortable. The place is very cool and very clean. Right in the thick of restaurants and everything we wanted and needed to do in Wellington. We went for a graduation and could not have had a better location. Had a fabulous time!

What a perfect spot. So central yet quiet and beautifully fitted out. The little touches like bathrobes, marshmallows for the hot chocolate and a bikkie for a cuppa were lovely. The added discovery of a cool whiskey bar downstairs (not that you would have known!) was a treat. Would definitely recommend.

Petone Haven is a lovely house with a garden which gets sunshine until early evening. So close to the main street, it was very quiet. Close as well to the beach and shore. Lots of lovely restaurants, cafes, bars and shops nearby. The house was contemporary, clean, had extra towels and bedding: we had everything we needed. We will stay again as we loved it there!

Another amazing stay. Toni and Tony are the best hosts I have ever had during my 2 years commuting to Wellington. You won't be disappointed! Thank you again, you guys are amazing 😀

We had a fabulous stay in Siobhan’s lovely Airbnb The view of the harbour is stunning and we enjoyed the privacy, peace and quiet whilst still having easy access to local shops and an short drive into Wellington city Definitely recommend

We needed a place to crash for a single night before visiting Weta and flying out of the airport, and Marks place was perfect for that.

Tina's place was great. Me and my boys enjoyed it so much and felt literally like home + nothing can beat the coffee machine !!!

I booked at the very last minute at 6:30pm on the night and the host responded so quickly. I am so grateful because this old house is very unique with plenty of history. Awesome views that you never get tired of. Walking distance to every where. Be aware there are a lot of stairs to get to the property and bedrooms rooms up on 2nd level so if you have old or bad legs this could be a problem. Not a problem for me at all though & I am nearly 60. Thanks for a great stay and sharing your family home with me.

Great place to stay, was perfect for our family and had everything we needed. Host was very responsive to any questions we had. Good location - quiet neighborhood and a short drive into CBD.

Relaxing, peacefully, luscious, warm, inviting, natural, green- oversized Hansel and Gretal styled exterior, arty and homey interior, with divine views due to epic location, could be anywhere in the world. I’ve already locked in the next of many visits!

Sharyn was helpful and friendly but also allowed me my privacy. She warmed the room for me prior to my arrival and was extremely flexible and helpful. The room suited my needs for the weekend and fridge was thoughtfully stocked with beverages. Enjoyed the outdoor covered seating area as well.

Michael’s place was exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to get around and worked perfectly for my trip. The townhouse was clean and quiet. I would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay, right at the top of the hill with a bit of a winding steep road - it was lovely and quiet with a stunning view, the beds and pillows were the best and comfiest we have ever had at an Airbnb!! The place had everything we needed for our short stay and looked just like the photos. Emma very kindly allowed us to have an earlier check in time so we could drop off our luggage and go explore Wellington. The only thing we would suggest is bring warm slippers in winter because the bathroom floor is freezing! The upstairs has a heat pump and the bedrooms have heaters so kept us cosy. We would definitely recommend this place to others and stay there again next time. Thank you Emma!

Very few bad things to say about this one, house was clean and matched photos, area was quiet and Jessica was responsive. Overall a very pleasant stay and definitely worth the money. 100% recommend if you don't mind a 10 minute walk into the city centre.

Perfect apartment to stay at in Wellington. Everything was as per the booking description etc.

This was a simply marvellous spot to stay! Fantastic location in a very secure location. I could easily walk to the grocery store, the waterfront, Te Papa museum and many other attractions. The apartment was spotless and equipped with everything I could imagine needing Llane was very responsive to questions and proactive with notices. I wish she owned a spot in every place on my bucket list!

Fabulous Airbnb Gorgeous views, so close to shops bakery and restaurants. We loved our stay and really appreciated the amazingly stocked kitchen.
