Monthly Rentals in Isla Venado

A great stay, with a likeable provider. We didn't see you, but she was always available and gave us great tips for the area. The apartment is simple, but has the essentials you need. Keep in mind that it is very rural and also some animals like dogs and geckos are running around and there are some insects. Otherwise, everything was easily accessible from there, such as Montezuma, for example. Absolutely recommended is the Karen Mogensen Reserve. :)

This was a great home base for our visit. It was easy to get to from the ferry, and then lots to do close by. The house itself was more spacious than the pictures show, and then lots to pool was of course the highlight. Great for my son, who swam in it all the time. Great for bird watching as well. The restaurant was fantastic, and had a kids menu and play area. For the activities, Noelia was very helpful to organize things. For the turtle island and bioluminescence, we did all in one day. Would recommend splitting them up and also driving to the location rather than being picked up by boat. Was only half hr drive. And for bioluminescence they send you home via taxi because it is after dark. But both activities were amazing! Otherwise there are lots of things close by, and had everything we needed for our family. Loved it!

I slept great even though there wasn't air conditioning. there are multiple fans and the area is pretty well shaded. very pleasant space and amenities

it was a wonderful part of our Costa Rican trip to stop here for 2 days. the cottage is as described, rustic, one with nature and surrounded by a beautiful setting and animals! Everything was clean and we really enjoyed the tour Alexander gave our family, which allowed us to learn more about a way of life that is respectful of nature and the resources we share.
