Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Irondale

This was a great place to stay for two nights in Birmingham. It was quiet and in a nice neighborhood a little bit outside of downtown.

We arrived later than anticipated so she left the porch light on for us. Much appreciated! 6-7 minutes from everywhere we needed to be. Would definitely stay here again

This is our second stay here. It's a great place. It's close to the train track but that didn't bother us. The host is incredibly responsive and generally awesome. Highly recommend. The backyard is really nice if you have an animal. It's fully fenced, large and well furnished!

This place was exactly as described. The kitchen was sticked with all the pots and pans needed and cooking utensils. The host was outstanding and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again. We were in town for travelball tournaments and this location was perfect.

The host were great! The unit was spotless! Very comfortable bed and attention to detail in unit. Great nespresso machine in unit and also coffee maker in lobby. Outdoor patio on ground floor was nice to de-stress. Overall great stay and space.

Susan was a great host. We had a problem with the A/C, but she addressed it right away and resolved the issue. And for our one day inconvenience her refunded our full amount. If the property is available I will be staying there again. Thanks.

Tight quarters, but has all you need for a quick stay. A/C is a window unit on the window in front of the bed. That did take us a minute to find, as all lights/air conditioning are off at time of entry. It takes a little bit to cool off, so would recommend coming in and getting the unit going while unpacking. This place is located very close to restaurants and easy access to either I-65 or I-459. I would say pretty well centrally located if you are going to be driving all over BHM. Would stay here again

I stayed here because my son had a way basketball game and I must say I was really satisfied! We were close to everything we needed to be. The place was spacious and clean and what was most important to me SAFE!! Highly recommend

The communication was prompt and friendly, the apartment was clean and exactly as it was described, and the location was in a safe and well-established neighborhood. This was my first Airbnb experience, and these two set the bar extremely high. We would gladly book with them again.

Carol’s place was clean and well appointed. She was very responsive and also accommodated late check in. There isn’t much around but it’s about a 15 minute easy walk to the convention center.

Laurens place was comfy and in a great, walkable, central location for exploring Birmingham on foot and by car. I enjoyed the balcony views, high ceilings, and large windows. Coffee and filtered water was provided which is always a lovely touch. I'd recommend the spot to anyone looking for a place in the heart of the city.

Joe was very responsive to my messages and helped coordinate an early check in based on our need for that. I recently stayed at 42nd while in Birmingham for work. The location was perfect. Easy walk to charming shops and restaurants. Also a quick drive to other parts of Birmingham. The interiors were styled to perfection, with McKenzie's art showcased throughout the home. Furnishings were comfortable and immaculately kept. Such a beautiful home. I highly recommend and cannot wait to return soon!

Such a cute spot! We travel back and forth from the beach to Birmingham for my daughter’s cancer treatment and found that Airbnbs were the way to go. More homey. This one was great and it’s comfy and cozy. You don’t feel like you’re staying in a sterile Airbnb, if you know what I mean. This one has character and warmth. We were already familiar with the area, but they keep several menus out for you and list tons of spots near by! We had everything we needed and my anxiety appreciates the detailed information we received from the hosts.
