Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Irondale

My wife and I along with a few other couples came in town to go to Alabama homecoming and Ashley's place was perfect! The neighborhood is super quiet and peaceful and there are some great walking/running trails right next to the house. All of the beds were clean and comfortable, and the rooms were very spacious. We did not spend a lot of time at the house with everything going on for the weekend but it was nice to have a beautiful and spacious place to come back to. Would definitely recommend staying here and if needed, we will be coming back!

This was our second stay at Frank's place while visiting our daughter in Birmingham. Tucked in by the river, it is a quiet location and still easy to access main roads around the city. The space was perfect for our needs!

Pamela’s place was absolutely wonderful —warm, welcoming, and clean. Despite our last-minute booking, she was incredibly kind and made sure we had everything we needed. The charming older home had a nostalgic, cozy vibe, like staying at a grandma's house, yet offered all the modern comforts. We loved the peaceful location—close enough to Walmart and downtown for convenience but tucked away in a quiet area free from noise. The split-level layout was ideal: well-equipped kitchen and comfy bedrooms (each with a queen bed and ceiling fan) upstairs, a cozy living room mid-level, and a spacious downstairs entertainment area. The outdoor balcony and patio were perfect for relaxing in the fresh air. Though the neighborhood initially gave me pause, stepping inside instantly put me at ease—it felt safe, inviting, and just right. Pamela’s quick responses and thoughtful hospitality sealed the deal. Without a doubt, would stay here again!

The home was spacious, clean and most importantly - comfortable! We appreciated the thought placed into the decor and quality of linens and towels. The neighborhood was quiet with very little traffic. Thank you for the water, coffee and light snacks.

We stayed at this Airbnb while in town for my brother’s wedding, and it was the perfect choice for our family. The location in downtown Birmingham was ideal—right near the Museum of Art, which made it easy to get to the reception while also managing our two young children. The space itself was great, and we especially loved having an amazing gelato shop right downstairs. While there wasn’t dedicated parking, we never had an issue finding street parking, and the nearby surface lot was very affordable. We also enjoyed walking to brunch at Frothy Monkey in the mornings. The only challenges were that the elevator wasn’t working the first day, and finding the entrance to the residence was a bit tricky at first. However, Bridgette was very responsive and helpful when we reached out. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay, and we’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable spot in Birmingham!

Price was great. Cute area. Very secure. A little hard to get in the building, but ample parking. Security roams around the area outside. All the locks in the building and security, it's definitely a secure and safe area. The room was exactly as described and pictured. The area was not overcrowded like most downtown areas. I would recommend this air bnb, but be sure to take the time to read instructions on how to get in before arriving. The host was excellent about responding and very friendly.

I stayed at this location for a month and the place is extremely comfortable, the office area in the back is great to work from and the front porch is great to relax on in the evenings.

Great place, good restaurants within a couple minutes drive, parking is plentiful right outside the apartment on the street, Jacob is very responsive. Washer and Dryer in a convenient spot in the bathroom. Beds pretty comfortable. No complaints!
