The house has a sheltered garden with terrace. During the summer holidays (maybe before) a 4x2m pool is set up for the children. We have 3 bedrooms + a basement living room with sofa bed and mattress so there is room for about 8 people. We can put out a couple of mattresses or a travel bed for smaller children. Toys and equipment for children 5-10 years are available. At the house there is also a playground with a football pitch and playground equipment. Short distance to public transport. Train to Oslo takes 19 minutes. The house is close to Drøbak, Tusenfryd, Ski and Vestby

Båstad, Indre Østfold municipality, Viken

A newly renovated cottage for rent with plenty of space for 12 people. The cabin is located in Båstad (1866) in Indre Østfold municipality, Viken. Good opportunities for walks in the forest, fishing trips both in Glomma and small ponds. In summer, you can swim both in Stiklatjern and Sandstangen, road all the way up. Sandstangen is a 300 meter long shore of moraine gravel on the east side of Øyeren in Trøgstad. Stiklatjern is located northeast of Båstad, the swimming area has the warmest bathing water with super water quality, and there is also a barbecue area.

If you want a different holiday/weekend, this is the place. The place is located in the forest but easily accessible, close to water and 30 minutes from Oslo (Sørmarka). Enjoy the day with good walks in beautiful forest terrain, a pleasant evening by the fireplace, a wood-fired sauna or maybe just only enjoy the peace of the forest. The place is close to the Ski Association's trail network where you will find exciting and attractive "view points" within a 30 minute walk.

Its elevated position allows you to enjoy the magnificent view of Hemnessjøen, a popular lake for fishing all year round. During the summer, you can even borrow a boat to explore the lake. Additionally, there are some wonderful hiking areas in close proximity to the cabin, offering opportunities for outdoor adventures and connecting with nature.
