It was a very nice stay! When we came everything was still covered in snow. Little Winter Wonderland in a peaceful environment. During our two weeks stay it got warmer and the snow left and more people returned to their Hytta! Would come back! Highly recommend.

We have been to this place for the second time and again incredibly beautiful. The house is a picture, both inside and out! We felt right at home there again! We have been lovingly and hospitably received and we will definitely be back for the third time! Sincerely recommended.

A really nice place to visit , on the first day after a few hours we were greeted by the husband who fixed a broken tap in the sink, helped us with getting the fireplace and firepit outside going and even gave us some hiking tips and other places to visit! very helpful and nice hosts, a beautiful place to visit if you ever want to get away from the city, would recommend to anyone who likes to be next to the water.

We stayed in the cabin for two days and really enjoyed it! Everything was perfect – the place was cosy, clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated that everything was marked with stickers – it was very convenient and made it easy to find. The surroundings were beautiful and quiet, and it was a perfect place to relax. We will definitely be back!

A cozy summer retreat from the city, with very helpful host! My only, minor compliaints, would be that the house is close to the road and by farms, so it's not super quiet. Very easy to get to though. It was a bit dusty, but clean overall. Would definitely consider going back!

We had a great stay at Hildes place. The cabin was the perfect getaway location: quiet, beautiful and very close to the train station to Oslo. When it was sunny, we enjoyed the seating outside. The cabin had everything we needed. Hilde was very proactive in her communication. Jakob even brought us some extra firewood for the fireplace.

The Airbnb was exactly as advertised, the rowing to the island took a bit to get used to but once you got the hang of it you could really take in the beautiful nature arround you. The house was great for getting away from your normal problems and thoughts. Overall a great experience and an recommendation for everyone with a bit of an adventurer in them.

A wonderful cabin experience in the pre-Christmas time. Beautiful nature in the immediate vicinity, good facilities in the cabin (hot water, wood-burning stove, fireplace and Cinderella dass). Both kitchen and bathroom are well equipped with everything you need. Surprisingly good beds and duvets! We had an incredible time!

Absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! The location was serene, the cabin itself was cozy and well-equipped, and the attention to detail by the host made our experience truly exceptional. The weather was delightful so we were also able to make good use of the outdoor barbie and patio area. Waking up to the picturesque views was a highlight, and the peaceful surroundings provided the perfect escape from the city hustle. Five stars without a doubt! Would love to come back. 🙏

Cozy house, equipped with everything you need and more. Our highlight was the large adventure garden and the location and direct access to the lake. Boat and kayak, various sports on the large sports field, climbing garden in the forest, campfire at the fireplace with lake view, sunrise over the lake - the property offers plenty of opportunities. Very quiet environment with a lot of privacy, wonderful to switch off and relax. Contact with the landlord was quick and straightforward. Thanks for a great vacation!

The cabin was in a beautiful location, with incredible views over the water. Everything in the cabin was easy to find and use. I'd definitely recommend hiring a car, so you can explore Holmsbu and nearby towns. When we had to message, both Ingunn and Hilde were very quick to respond. We booked the hot tub for our final night too, which I would definitely recommend. The locals are very friendly and helpful. And it was beautiful to see some snow too

the cabin is in the middle of the forest and very calm and quiet, it was incredibly cozy inside as the outside, we did not take the time and try out the stomp since it takes so long and fill up and get it warm, this is an amazing family cottage

We had a very nice time at Laura's cabin. Very clean and nice, and Laura made the cabin available on a short notice. The hot tub was warm upon arrival and me and my two sisters had a very pleasant day here. Laura responds quickly and is very helpful! Recommended.

From the start, we were very well received. Tomasz was ready to greet us when we arrived, so we were in really safe hands. He just reviewed the amenities with us and everything was really nice! I stayed for 3 weeks while working at NMBU. The location is perfect, just 15 min cycle along a country road. I loved staying here, it was so peaceful, and Elias and his family made me feel incredibly welcome. It is a beautiful space with everything you could need.

My boyfriend and I have been to Norway for the first time and very happy with this accommodation. Wonderfully quiet and beautiful surroundings. Anikken was easily accessible and was quick to respond. Especially very helpful and thoughtful, we got a lot of tips from her. We have felt very much at home here partly because of the hospitality. The cottage was also clean, cozy and equipped with everything you needed :)

Beautiful cabin, perfect for relaxing. Everything was as described, Michael Angelo was always very helpful with recommendations or instructions. We would definitely return for another peaceful break here. There are plenty of hikes a short drive away.
