We had a very relaxing stay enjoying the sun and beautiful flowers in the garden. The place is very quiet and it is possible to walk in the fields around but you have to take the car to the basic necessities shops in the neighboring village 8min drive or for restaurants 20min away. If you're looking for peace and a place to disconnect, don't hesitate!

Wonderful stay at Karim's. Very beautiful well-equipped house in a peaceful environment. A lovely heated pool with an unobstructed view. The terrace is lovely too. Thanks to Karim, we lacked nothing. We'll be back!

Very pleasant stay in a very beautiful area, close to Amboise (15 min by car). The place is spacious, clean and very nice. Rémy was welcoming, accommodating and responsive, I recommend it!

We were moving for a bmx sporting event, with a team of adults and young adults , the competitions taking place during the day we were able to benefit from the inner part that perfectly suited our needs , we found everything we needed and Agnes was able to meet our expectations in terms of arrangements of rooms and dorms with responsiveness and availability. We were able to benefit from a secure parking where our 2 vans and trailer were able to park without the need to unload bikes and other accessories. We booked Marie-Thérèse's place for a meeting with friends in the Vouvray region. We booked in October, the weather was mild which particularly enhanced the space. The private property is equipped with a courtyard to park 2 cars (or even 3), a garden, a barbecue area (which we did not use but good to know) with table and chairs, a flowered shaded area. It is in the heart of the village but it is extremely quiet. A supermarket and bar/restaurant can help if needed. For amenities, it has all the amenities to be self-sufficient. I highly recommend Marie-Thérèse's place.

Lovely, responsive, and flexible host. Very clean and quiet accommodation. We were able to enjoy the garden with barbecue and a few short swims in the river at the bottom of the grounds. Despite the high heat, the place remained cool. Thank you for the welcome and maybe see you next year. Happy hosting.

I would definitely recommend staying here for many reasons. Juan is an incredible host, very friendly and quick to recommend local amenities and places to visit. There's a wealth of information provided too in the form of maps, leaflets and booklets- great to browse and choose from while sat by the pool. We could have stayed a month and still not seen everything! We found the peaceful location was perfect for visiting so many places, most just 20-30 minutes away. There's a large supermarket a few minutes drive as well as the town of Richelieu, which has some beautiful restaurants. The house itself is wonderful, it is very clean and tidy. It has all the basics you need plus far more. We particularly liked the way there are different areas ie seating area for reading, area over looking the pool and our boys were overjoyed they had a large sofa and Netflix! The pool was fabulous, wonderful having sole use of it. Worth noting pool towels were provided too. We cannot wait to return!

Despite a boiler problem when we arrived the rest of our stay went well. Pleasant castle, well-equipped, nice bathroom. Great for a weekend with friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Les Essarts. This is an characterful , well designed and spacious property in a very peaceful countryside setting. The interior is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Externally the pool area was a dream where adults and kids can spend hours relaxing or having fun. The grounds are huge and well maintained. I can thoroughly recommend staying here and Laurent at La Conceigerie was extremely helpful throughout.

House as described. We were 6 Adults and 6 children and were able to enjoy it to the fullest (except the pool which was out of order but it was not an inconvenience). Nathalie's kindness and availability made it possible to make this stay pleasant and relaxed. I would highly recommend it!

An idyllic setting for those looking for a great space to welcome family and friends. A very pleasant calm, a decorated house with great taste and the pool house is a real plus. Patou welcomed us wonderfully and remained available throughout the stay. Between the swimming pool, the billiards room, the large living room with the video projector and the beautiful bar, this place will seduce you for sure. I highly recommend

Go there without so much as a second thought! 🤩 It's beautiful, tastefully decorated and quality materials. Plus detailed services for super comfortable amenities and bedding. I organized this stay as part of a surprise. As I imagined, the place has a lot more for everyone. Peaceful setting, the exteriors are also very well thought out. Romain is very nice. I would not hesitate to recommend the place to come back for a possible event. (Better in real life than in the photos)

All the participants in our family WE are unanimous. The setting was perfect, the house was as surprising as it was pleasant, the exteriors welcoming. A perfect place for this type of event, and it's not impossible for us to come back. The kitchen, an important place in this type of WE, met our expectations. We found all the necessary equipment there. The bedrooms are all large and well equipped. Small downsides that, by being corrected, would improve your already good level of service. A few extra mirrors would be appreciated in bedrooms. The 2 umbrella beds provided are unusable as they do not lock. In the games room, the billiard tails are "tired". They no longer have a tip. But rest assured, these few points didn't stop us from having a great time in this "magical" and "bewitching" place A beautiful place to recommend for groups over 10 people.

We had a great week! The house is perfectly equipped , the air conditioning was very useful the first 2 days of our stay. We enjoyed the pool greatly. Beautiful English garden. The walks along the expensive river are very soothing.

Our stay at Sandrine’s was great. She had thought about making our kids welcome as well as us. The place is lovely and bigger than the photos show.

Completely atypical house and tastefully decorated in a style mixing the rustic of the farmhouse and contemporary works and designs. The garden is large, quiet and well protected. We had a very quiet week as we wanted with a visit to the castles of the Loire Valley nearby, restaurants following the informed advice of our hosts, when we did not want to cook. A big thank you to them for their kindness and hospitality.

Very quiet place in a nice village in a very nice setting, almost as in a country home. Nice and helpful host who lives on the property and speaks English. No Netflix or other unnecessary distractions from being close to cultural hotspots. It was a pleasure!

had a great stay with Didier and his wife. What a beautiful house. Spatially set up so you certainly don't have to walk in each other's way. However, it is handy with small children and grandmother who came to visit. A very spacious kitchen with all the comforts. I would just bring my own sharp knives that I missed. Clean rooms, kitchen, baby cot and high chair. Also fun games for the kids. Nice homemade tree fort and a swing! The house is in the countryside and trips to a nice town is usually a 45 minute drive. Don't mind this. The pool was a delight for swimming. Unfortunately, we had less than hoped for. But Didier turned on the heat pump for us and the canopy over it and then it is certainly good to spend time in the pool. Our son has overcome his fear of water here and couldn't get away! What a delight to see! We are extremely grateful to Didier and Betrix for our great stay! Recommended!

We had a great time at Eric and Lydia's. The setting was very nice and the house very comfortable. We had 4 small children and we were able to enjoy ourselves with peace of mind (secure pool, suitable equipment...). We recommend this listing, especially since the hosts were welcoming and available.

We had a wonderful two night stay at Agnes’s on our Loire Valley tour of chateaux. The location of the house is minutes away from Chateau Villandry. The house itself was impeccably clean and very comfortable. We all enjoyed the gorgeous pool after a hot day exploring. The facilities were excellent and had everyone you could possibly require. Our daughter also enjoyed playing in the children’s area at the front of the house. We would definitely stay again but for longer next time! Thank you Agnes for having us.
