We took the road A16 via Rouen, it was so much quieter than travelling nearer Paris. We arrived around 4pm the house looking great in the afternoon sun, it looked freshly painted, the house is in great condition, the beds were very comfortable, all the bathrooms looked brand new, the kitchen was perfect. The window blinds were a good send, allowing in cool breeze whilst giving you security. Plenty of space to park your car and turn it around, being behind electric gates was a real bonus. It’s a 25 minute walk to the bridge so close enough to view the great sites in Blois. I would throughly recommend staying at Claire’s great house. If we return to the area we know where to stay. Beautifully decorated modern apartment in a quiet location. Ideally located for visiting the beautiful chateaux of the Loire and close to Amboise where there are many restaurants. Full breakfast with pastries, orange juice included and others, really perfect! Very friendly and attentive host. Thank you so much. I recommend it.

New accommodation, good location (close to main tourist attractions) Top-notch bedding. Household equipment in quantity and quality. Access to the premises a little tricky with a "9-seater" vehicle (necessary maneuvers). Quiet and relaxing environment.

Fabienne's house is impeccable, from floor to ceiling. The amenities are numerous, there are games for children. The neighborhood is very quiet. Everything is perfect, Fabienne is friendly and very available. You really can't find better for a family vacation. I would recommend it 100%

We had a lovely family weekend. The house is very nice, spacious and peaceful, well-equipped, a splendid view with a very nice jacuzzi. The self check-in is great and the instructions are clear to get to the right destination.

Right in the old city beautiful surroundings, this is a perfect spot to explore. Nice appartment, confortable and typical under the roof, minimalist décoration is restful after days exploring. Morning coffee offered at the nice bar terrace in the sun downstairs to start the day perfectly! Wish I had stayed more than 2 days. Will be back !

If there is one address to know, it is that of the Domaine des Caves Auger. This is my favorite this summer. We stayed with my two daughters in the estate apartment with a small kitchen. The place is sublime and particularly quiet, the bedding is top quality, the warm welcome, caring, the site is impeccably clean, the pool and jacuzzi are particularly pleasant, everything is thought for your relaxation and your comfort with taste and refinement. One night spent in Tours in Damien and Julia's apartment. The accommodation is very pleasant, well laid out with all the necessities on site. It is well located and in a very quiet small private alley. Recommended ++

Everything was perfect, very good breakfast

A simply wonderful stay. This beautiful chateau is in a lovely setting, a huge park and forest, filled with history, and the owners made us feel at home immediately. I can't see a better place if one is searching for an idyllic setting in the French countryside. It is rather remote, which we loved, but then you can also easily get to (by car) innumerable chateaux in the lovely Centre-Val de Loire region. Everything is just as in the pictures and the rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable and beautifully renovated in the style of the chateau. Ellen prepared us an amazing petit-déjeuner each day which we enjoyed in the charming dining area. We felt absolutely spoiled! I fell in love with this place, I really want to come back soon and stay longer! Thank you Ellen and Paul for sharing your space!

Remy and Laurent were absolutely FANTASTIC hosts! We had a fairly hectic schedule with last minute changes and we were so, so incredibly grateful for their flexibility and kindness. Remy always responded with a lovely smile on his face and was accommodating to us when there was a delay due to train, walking us through every little detail (e.g., how to use the hot tub, if we need any extra towels), and had the best recommendations for restaurants. The Lizardiere is a short ~15 minute drive to Chateau Chaumont, <20 minutes from Chateau de Chaumont, and ~45 minutes to Tours. I highly, highly recommend staying at their B&B over a hotel for the privacy, the peacefulness, and just taking a moment to relax before heading to the chateaus. Their dining room is so lovely and full of character as well - a lovely way to start the day while enjoying breakfast. Hope to stay here again if we're in Loire Valley again!

We had a pleasant stay at the Trogloft, Valentin is very welcoming and warm, chatting with him is a pleasure. The cave experience is to live in, and here between pool and balneo bathtub, we are delighted with our two nights. A small plus, once the car is installed, everything is within walking distance, Château, Clos Lucé, city center, restaurant, banks of the Loire, etc... The city center of Amboise is very pleasant and extremely clean, it is a pleasure to walk there and you feel safe there, going home to Valentin in the evening, even at night, is not a problem. We recommend it without hesitation and will be back without a problem. Thank you Valentine for hosting us!

Finally a vacation where you could finally switch off from the stressful everyday life. Florence is a great hostess and you just feel at home with her. The estate is an oasis for the soul and Florence with her very pleasant manner simply an excellent hostess. We had dinner together every evening and always had a great end to the day. Next time, we'll probably take 10 nights instead of 5. From the estate you can wonderfully explore the Loire Valley in the surroundings of Tours, but also discover fascinating areas and places in the immediate vicinity, such as the famous rose village of Chédigny or the troglodyte villages. Anyway, I'll take my fishing gear with me next time. A clear recommendation for people who are finally looking for peace from everyday life is clearly the magnificent estate of Florence! Keep it up and good luck with your pergola ;-)
