We loved our stay in Think and Retro cafe. The stand out for us was the Saturday night fire show. They have fantastic food, a menu full of variety, great cocktails, and attentive staff which all meant we felt right at home. Clean bedsheets and working a/c felt wonderful. Quirky feel with the containers (mostly felt in the bathroom), wonderful beach cafe/restaurant and place to chill out. Laundry place walkable down the road. Really great stay.

Very nice host, makes everything possible if you ask him something. We were the first guests and he organized bikes or a tuktuk for us at all times. Quiet location, modern amenities, safe accommodation (always someone on site who is careful or available for questions, gates in front of the door) Large kitchen to cook for yourself, good amenities. Located halfway between downtown and Angkor Wat, so you are always dependent on a tuktuk or bike. The Angkor Wat Ticket Center is close by. We were completely satisfied with everything and would come back any time. Panha is a great and very hard-working host!

We have enjoyed our stay here. Room is really nice and simple. Just the right atmosphere for us as a couple. We enjoyed the pool and the common area. Really nice accommodation - can definitely recommend. We will book this again if we come back one day. :-) Staff is really sweet. Could easily communicate in English too. Every few days there were new water and toilet paper outside the door. Thanks for a nice stay.!

Perfect spot to rest and recharge! Clean, comfortable and quite convenient. The water and coffee refills were a lovley perk and the pool and tub were marvelous. I'd stay again in a heartbeat!

We were pleasantly surprised by the Retro Box hotel. It looked even better than the photos. The room was clean, drinking water, towels, breakfast. The staff were kind, responsive, welcoming, and attentive. Whatever we needed, it was no problem to arrange. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The cleanliness of the house is higher than expected, and the bed is very comfortable.The decoration style is very unique, as described by the shopkeeper, narrow down the lounge space and expand the space of coexistence.This trip was too rushed to experience this part.The receptionist gave good advice in all aspects of check-in and travel. The only two are more mindful: 1. The reason for the decoration structure, every morning, the next guest rushes up and down, you can feel the sound and vibration.2. Hygiene issues in the shower.This is related to checking in with guests on their own.

Cool place, right on the beach and right next to the think cafe. You can walk out of the room into the sea/along the beach. Food is great at the cafe. The room is practical, has what you need! Thank you :)

Cozy little house in a quiet Bangkok neighborhood—perfect for a short stay. The garden is beautiful and adds a peaceful vibe to the place. It’s compact but has all the essentials. Great location, comfy bed, and strong Wi-Fi. A bit small for long stays, but overall very pleasant!

We had a great stay! The place is very spacious with lots of rooms—perfect for a group or family. It’s also in a convenient location, within walking distance to a shopping mall. Overall, it was a really good experience, especially if you're traveling with a lot of people. Highly recommend!

We were a group of six, but we cound have been double of that, and it still would have been spacious. It’s a «feel good place» with inspiring arcitecture, views, and a fresh breese on the roof, swimming and playing with the canoos, even bycycles to go around the little park that the property is. It has a good kitchen, barbeque, and lots of space in different sections, ideal for both families and bigger groups. The staff is helpful and friendly, speaking thai and english. It was quite uniqe to have this little world all by ourselfes, and we really enjoyed it!

Super cool stay, while imagining a container being small or cramped, that is not at all the case! Very private, spacious, nice bath, super comfortable bed. Outside private pattio and on the water. A steal for the price!

As it’s name suggests, it’s a cabin. A wonderful one! Highly recommended! Nestled some miles away from the main highway, our late-night arrival didn’t hinder the effortless self check-in at this gem of a cabin situated amidst an enchanting orchard. The peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views of expansive paddy fields, accompanied by flocks of egrets in the skies, created a serene and memorable retreat. We saw a picturesque sunset above the village on the horizon from the balcony on our last evening. Also, plenty of windows around the cabin to bring the views inside. The cabin is equipped with complete amenities such as clean kitchen and bathroom, ensuring a comfortable stay, including refrigerator, gas stove, shower cream, towels, bedding, cozy comforters, air conditioners in bedrooms and living room. If you plan to travel by driving your own vehicle to the countryside, we highly recommend this property. The nearest grocer is miles away and there is no public transportation.

Me and my friend had a incredible stay. Thank you so so much for everything, I hope life will let us meet again. The hosts were very very, if not overly friendly 😂❤️. It felt like home. The place is also beautiful and it has a great value. We even got breakfast and were always asked if everything was fine etc. Thank you so much I can recommend this place with all my heart, Daniel

Quiet and clean accommodation, very nice host, I recommend it.

Good place for larger groups. Scenery was nice and quiet. The containers are smaller than expected as they are half size not full size. Outdoor 2nd restroom was not expected.

Our family spent two nights at this property and we absolutely loved it. The space may seem small at first glance but it is very functional. This property is definitely not your typical one or two bedroom apartment. We loved the concept of containers beautifully stacked and connected to create the living space literally 20 feet from the ocean water during high tide. The Japanese breakfast was also a very pleasant surprise! Overall I would strongly recommend anyone looking for a peaceful beachfront gateway to try this place out. You won’t be disappointed!

The accommodation was very nice! The host was always available for questions, gave us tips on places and restaurants, and was very friendly! I loved it a lot. Unfortunately, we weren’t there for long and didn’t have much luck with the weather. Still, it was great, and I would come back anytime :) Highly recommended!

Fantastic place to unwind! The hosts are great. We stayed there during the Songkran-holliday and went with them to celebrate Songkran in Hat Yai. In the morning there was always coffee and cookies ready, and the hosts were always up for a great conversation. Our stay was a very nice combination between unwinding in its own place (the container and garden are very quiet and cozy) and social contact between the hosts and some of their friends. If we are in Hat Yai again, we will definitely come back here!

Before we decided where we stay, I had contacted with many of host. My is most quickly reply than others anytime. Her father was very kind and cheerful. Staff here took care of us continuously. Really recomend for you !!!

Perfect spot for staycation or quick escape! Even using the container, you'll not feel hot inside, instead very cold at night 🥶. in the unit provided electric stove, mini fridge, some cooking utensils, hotel-like bathroom, tv, air conditioner & fan. the layout inside the unit was clean, neat & tidy. on outside, got nice pool, bbq area & mini garden. The host, puan anisah & husband was really polite, friendly & easy to communicate with, even offered us a delicious pulut durian for breakfast. it was totally great & enjoyeful experience staying at Homestay Kontena!

An incredible host who was beyond helpful. We booked last minute and he accommodated everything perfectly. Even going out of his way to help us with anything we needed. Would stay here anytime. I hope to be back! Thanks!
