Vacation rentals with lake access in Indochina

We spent a beautiful weekend at the Cabin with two families. It is in a superb location right by Doi Inthanon National Park. The house has everything you could ever need, and a lovely homely feel to relax and play games and hang out after a day of hiking and waterfalls. The facilities are top-quality with a real attention to detail. The morning light is also stunning, and the kids loved the pedalos in the little lake. The enclosed veranda with daybeds and the dining table with full french windows looking to onto the gardens is really a nice spot! We would definitely recommend this place for families or a group of friends looking for a comfortable base to explore Doi Inthanon from. The food from the nearby restaurant was also very reasonably priced and delicious. The hosts were super helpful and responsive, though we had nothing to really ask them for as the place is so perfectly set up and all the instructions and directions clear from the start. We will definitely be back!

We staid here after traveling Thailand for about 10 days already, and this was my most favorite place that we stayed at. It's right on the river, and the island is amazing. There is a small weekend market, plus a number of regular little shops, cafes, and restaurants on the island. Ko Kret is a hidden gem! So beautiful. I absolutely loved staying here. The rooms are located on the 2nd level of a traditional teak wood home, with it's own (though separated) bathroom, balcony, and seating areas. Rooms are air conditioned, bathroom is not, but that was not an issue for us. The two women are so incredibly kind, and serve a great breakfast each morning! This is a great place to stay for anyone who is looking for a local, quiet, traditional experience. I wish I could stay longer!!! 🥰

If I could give 6 stars, I would! Thai Homestay was the absolute highlight of our trip to Vietnam.Staying here was so much more than just finding a place to sleep — it was about connecting deeply with the Thai minority culture in a way we never expected. The homestay itself is exactly like the pictures — beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm. But what really made the experience unforgettable was the people. Tam prepared amazing meals every day — full of local flavors, fresh ingredients, and love. Even though the family speaks little English, communication was never a barrier. We’ll never forget the grandmother weaving traditional scarves in the evening, her calm rhythm matching the serenity of the village. Or being offered fresh jackfruit and grilled bananas as we sat on the porch. Mr. Tunc took us hiking through the most breathtaking scenery — green rice fields, banana plants, bamboo water mills.. Yen helped us arrange a private driver from Hanoi to Pu Luong and back! Thanks a lot!

Great stay at this AirBnB. The rooms were very clean. The AC worked great and was a nice retreat from the Hanoi heat. The washing machine and dryer worked very well and there was laundry detergent provided. Highly reccomend!

The place was wonderful, it was exactly as in the images at AirBnB. The host was also very prompt and responsive. All beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped. If i have to be nit picky the Air conditions need to be of bigger capacity especially 2 rooms were not getting cool despite of the AC being on almost all day and all night. This is just we are being over critical. Overall the aesthetics and maintenance of the Villa is spot on. It is a perfect get aways for a family and friends. It is also very picturesque too.

Kemkay was exactly as advertised and perfect for our family. Location in old quarter was great , just 200m to the busy areas and quiet enough to be enjoyable on the balcony and rooms. A/c worked well and home is very comfortable. Lam Son was brilliant in helping out with things to do and recommendations , very trustworthy. Would definitely stay again if in Hanoi.

I had an absolutely amazing stay here! The place was spotless — everything was incredibly clean and well-maintained. I especially loved the bathrooms and bedrooms — they were comfortable, stylish, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. The highlight for me was the balcony; the view was stunning and made for the perfect spot to unwind. Overall, a fantastic experience and one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve had. Highly recommended!

We were welcomed in-person and shown around the place. There were welcome fruits arranged . When we faced an issue with Bathroom , Quoc was ready to come even at 10:30 in the night and when I said it’s ok to attend next day , they came promptly in the morning and fixed it. They were also present to see us off at 12:30 in the night when we checked out . The house is very nice and matches exactly as in the photos . It is a very well decorated house and comfortable for family of upto 6 .

Diep’s place was wonderful, it was a nice little escape in the bustling cities of hanoi and I cannot recommend staying here enough!

Highly recommended place and Charles is a great host, always helpful and responsive. The condo has everything you need for a pleasent stay including access to a pool area and a fitness room. Also close to a lot of local eateries and nice lake area great for running and biking.

Pim’s home was the perfect spot to escape the face-paced city. She was an extremely attentive and caring host, offering us food and loads of helpful tips on exploring Bangkok. She also gives you your space and allows you to make yourself at home. The apartment itself was very clean, with lots of useful amenities. The area is a little out of the city centre, but easily reachable by taxi. Beds are comfy and apartment is very quiet, and gets super dark at night so we had great sleeps! Thanks again Pim, you were wonderful!

Lovley, no frills stay centrally in Phuket but away from the crowds and near a lovley water reservation. It's really quiet at night. Host is lovley and responded to our requests super fast. Nice person who tries his best to make his guests have a great stay. There is construction next doors but they start only around 9am. No smoke or other things as described by previous tenants. Electrical bill is extra but very fair. Just wasn't mentioned, but for the the price I expected that to be the case anyways. It's an amazing offer for the price U get a huge apartment. Perfect location if U like nature. But yes, bike will be needed to get in and out. We loved our stay and hope to visit again. Was the best accommodation for our 10 days in Phuket. ❤️🙏

Lovely and comfortable cabin, located in a peaceful surrounding but walking distance to nearby grocery stores as well as Siikhe lake. It felt like home away from home! We will definitely want to come back.

The place was lovely and so spacious! The views were incredible and the pool table/games room was a great addition! Simon was super helpful and communicative despite not being there in person - going out of his way to help us multiple times! Would 100% stay again!

I absolutely loved staying here. I've been traveling for over a month and this was the first place I felt totally at home. The bathroom was lively and it was so nice to cook in the kitchen. After I left I thought: oh it felt so good to be there it felt like a big hug. Then I remembered that is the name of their place! Hehe thanks so much!

Thanthip and her husband were extremely kind to us. We didn't have a vehicle so he came to pick us up and we dropped off at the restaurant. They were very warm and very helpful whenever we needed them. I highly recommend this accommodation, which, moreover, is beautiful, and is located in a forest, which makes the setting beautiful. I would recommend this place which was one of the best during my stay in Thailand. Thanks again to Thanthip and her husband.

I will be back and many will follow. It’s my dream house. Just sitting by the creek is more than enough.

Very welcome and friendly staff!! The pool is very big with panorama view. No Air-con. but all is great. My family and i love this place so much. Hope to be back here soon.
