We loved our stay in Think and Retro cafe. The stand out for us was the Saturday night fire show. They have fantastic food, a menu full of variety, great cocktails, and attentive staff which all meant we felt right at home. Clean bedsheets and working a/c felt wonderful. Quirky feel with the containers (mostly felt in the bathroom), wonderful beach cafe/restaurant and place to chill out. Laundry place walkable down the road. Really great stay.

Sehr netter Gastgeber, macht alles möglich wenn man ihn etwas fragt. Wir waren die ersten Gäste und er hat uns zu jeder Zeit Fahrräder oder ein Tuktuk organisiert. Ruhige Lage, moderne Ausstattung, sichere Unterkunft (immer jemand vor Ort der aufpasst oder bei Fragen zur Verfügung steht, Gitter vor der Tür) Große Küche zum selber kochen, gute Ausstattung. Liegt auf halber Strecke zwischen der Innenstadt und Angkor Wat, deswegen ist man immer auf ein Tuktuk oder Fahrrad angewiesen. Das Ticket Center für Angkor Wat liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir waren mit allem rundum zufrieden und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Panha ist ein toller und sehr bemühter Gastgeber!

We have enjoyed our stay here. Room is really nice and simple. Just the right atmosphere for us as a couple. We enjoyed the pool and the common area. Really nice accommodation - can definitely recommend. We will book this again if we come back one day. :-) Staff is really sweet. Could easily communicate in English too. Every few days there were new water and toilet paper outside the door. Thanks for a nice stay.!

Perfect spot to rest and recharge! Clean, comfortable and quite convenient. The water and coffee refills were a lovley perk and the pool and tub were marvelous. I'd stay again in a heartbeat!

Retro Box hotel nás mile překvapil. Vypadal snad ještě lépe, než na fotkách. Pokoj byl čistý, k dispozici pitná voda, ručníky, snídaně. Personál byl milý, pohotový, přívětivý a pozorný. Cokoliv jsme potřebovali, nebylo problém zařídit. Děkujeme za krásný pobyt!

房间的整洁度高于预期，床也很舒服。装修风格很独特，正如店家描述的那样，缩小休息空间，扩大共处空间。这一趟行程由于太赶，没有好好体验这一部分。前台小哥在入住出行各方面都给了中肯建议。 唯二比较介意：1、装修结构的原因，每天大清早隔壁房客赶路跑上跑下，能感觉到声音和震动。2、淋浴间的卫生问题。这跟入住客人是否自觉维护有关。

Mein Zimmer war leider „in Reparatur“; die Klimaanlage war defekt. Ich wurde kurzerhand bei Ankunft in eine andere Unterkunft gebracht. Dies lag etwa 5-Autominuten entfernt und hiess I-Talay; sie war tatsächlich noch schöner gelegen und so habe ich spontan umbuchen können. Ich kann daher für diese Unterkunft keine Angaben machen. Das Personal war sehr nett und flexibel.

Cozy little house in a quiet Bangkok neighborhood—perfect for a short stay. The garden is beautiful and adds a peaceful vibe to the place. It’s compact but has all the essentials. Great location, comfy bed, and strong Wi-Fi. A bit small for long stays, but overall very pleasant!

We had a great stay! The place is very spacious with lots of rooms—perfect for a group or family. It’s also in a convenient location, within walking distance to a shopping mall. Overall, it was a really good experience, especially if you're traveling with a lot of people. Highly recommend!

We were a group of six, but we cound have been double of that, and it still would have been spacious. It’s a «feel good place» with inspiring arcitecture, views, and a fresh breese on the roof, swimming and playing with the canoos, even bycycles to go around the little park that the property is. It has a good kitchen, barbeque, and lots of space in different sections, ideal for both families and bigger groups. The staff is helpful and friendly, speaking thai and english. It was quite uniqe to have this little world all by ourselfes, and we really enjoyed it!

Super cool stay, while imagining a container being small or cramped, that is not at all the case! Very private, spacious, nice bath, super comfortable bed. Outside private pattio and on the water. A steal for the price!

As it’s name suggests, it’s a cabin. A wonderful one! Highly recommended! Nestled some miles away from the main highway, our late-night arrival didn’t hinder the effortless self check-in at this gem of a cabin situated amidst an enchanting orchard. The peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views of expansive paddy fields, accompanied by flocks of egrets in the skies, created a serene and memorable retreat. We saw a picturesque sunset above the village on the horizon from the balcony on our last evening. Also, plenty of windows around the cabin to bring the views inside. The cabin is equipped with complete amenities such as clean kitchen and bathroom, ensuring a comfortable stay, including refrigerator, gas stove, shower cream, towels, bedding, cozy comforters, air conditioners in bedrooms and living room. If you plan to travel by driving your own vehicle to the countryside, we highly recommend this property. The nearest grocer is miles away and there is no public transportation.

Me and my friend had a incredible stay. Thank you so so much for everything, I hope life will let us meet again. The hosts were very very, if not overly friendly 😂❤️. It felt like home. The place is also beautiful and it has a great value. We even got breakfast and were always asked if everything was fine etc. Thank you so much I can recommend this place with all my heart, Daniel

Good place for larger groups. Scenery was nice and quiet. The containers are smaller than expected as they are half size not full size. Outdoor 2nd restroom was not expected.

Our family spent two nights at this property and we absolutely loved it. The space may seem small at first glance but it is very functional. This property is definitely not your typical one or two bedroom apartment. We loved the concept of containers beautifully stacked and connected to create the living space literally 20 feet from the ocean water during high tide. The Japanese breakfast was also a very pleasant surprise! Overall I would strongly recommend anyone looking for a peaceful beachfront gateway to try this place out. You won’t be disappointed!

The accommodation was very nice! The host was always available for questions, gave us tips on places and restaurants, and was very friendly! I loved it a lot. Unfortunately, we weren’t there for long and didn’t have much luck with the weather. Still, it was great, and I would come back anytime :) Highly recommended!

Fantastische plek om even tot rust te komen! De hosts zijn geweldig. We verbleven er tijdens de Songkran-holliday en gingen samen met hen Songkran vieren in Hat Yai. 's Ochtends stond er telkens koffie en koekjes klaar, en de hosts stonden altijd klaar voor een tof gesprek. Ons verblijf was een hele mooie combinatie tussen tot rust komen in een eigen plek (de container en tuin zijn heel rustig en gezellig) en sociaal contact tussen de hosts en enkelen van hun vrienden. Als we nog eens in Hat Yai zijn, komen we hier zeker terug!

Before we decided where we stay, I had contacted with many of host. My is most quickly reply than others anytime. Her father was very kind and cheerful. Staff here took care of us continuously. Really recomend for you !!!

Perfect spot for staycation or quick escape! Even using the container, you'll not feel hot inside, instead very cold at night 🥶. in the unit provided electric stove, mini fridge, some cooking utensils, hotel-like bathroom, tv, air conditioner & fan. the layout inside the unit was clean, neat & tidy. on outside, got nice pool, bbq area & mini garden. The host, puan anisah & husband was really polite, friendly & easy to communicate with, even offered us a delicious pulut durian for breakfast. it was totally great & enjoyeful experience staying at Homestay Kontena!

An incredible host who was beyond helpful. We booked last minute and he accommodated everything perfectly. Even going out of his way to help us with anything we needed. Would stay here anytime. I hope to be back! Thanks!
