Vacation rentals with lake access in Ikast-Brande Municipality

We are travellers who have been around, but this trip was so amazing mainly due to the fantastic house of Christian! The house is sooo cosy, well equipped, clean and warm with lots of natural light! Our 5 year old daughter also liked it because she could play with the Lego of Christian’s kids! The house is perfectly situated in a quiet street and near the forest and lakes. The communication of Christian was very swift and he informed us of other activities we could do on rainy days. Thanks again for the amazing stay!

A beautiful house in a beautiful location, perfect for 2 families with young children. Well located, in the nature but close to Aarhus or LEGOLAND. The trampoline in the garden and canoes on the lake were great for the kids. Lars-Christian is a fantastic, thoughtful host who takes care of the comfort of his guests. A clean and neat house, follow-up about arrival and departure and reactive if there is a problem. Recommended!

We had a great experience as a family for 8 days. The house was good and the surroundings were cozy. The host was very good to communicate with.

We had a nice stay. We where 2 days in Legoland and 2 days in Djurs sommarland. We had 2 days where we only stayed at the house. At the house we could enjoy several activities. We and the kids was very happy with our stay.

Lovely apartment on the lower floor with the landlord. Lots of space and very clean and tidy. Great location with lovely views and a short distance to Silkeborg city center. Highly recommended ☺️

Super nice house with a huge property and particularly suitable for families for vacation. This time we were in Denmark for the Handball World Cup and would be happy to come back for a real vacation! :-) Thanks for the nice and uncomplicated hospitality!

We had a great experience during this stay! Everything was exactly as described, and we lacked nothing during our stay. The house was lovely clean, cozy and equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were welcoming and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful holiday with our family at Stine's house. The house is nicely furnished, cozy and tidy. Convenient that we did not have to participate in bed linen and towels in our luggage. Our daughters loved the large trampoline and the toys that were ready. Thank you again for that. Within a radius of max. 1 hour drive there is plenty to do (Aarhus, LEGOLAND, deer park, several beautiful lakes to hike around...). The lake within walking distance of the house is also very nice. Nice that there was a plan, so we found it soon. Weather was changeable, but our daughters have been able to swim in it. Delightful! You will also find supermarkets nearby. We thought the location was ideal. This was our first encounter with Denmark and we really liked it! We definitely recommend Stine's place!

It took my breath away when I saw the place where I was staying for a few days. Very spacious, cozy, fully equipped apartment. Bathroom downstairs, everything else upstairs. Around greenery, pond, parking lot and forests. 3 large rooms, very glazed and bright surface. To the store by car 5 minutes Remi 1000, then to Lidl and netto, but max 10min. Legoland 30min. Live and die. Heaven on earth. Polecam 😊

We enjoyed our stay with Bente and Ingo. Super nice and helpful hosts and spacious home with everything your heart desires. We had breakfast in the gazebo at the bottom of the garden with beautiful views of the creek and their fine garden. Silkeborg itself is a gem where we bathed from both of the two bathing establishments in Almindsø and in two other lakes - great experiences all places. We can also recommend the lunch buffet at café Ørnsø where you can sit outside overlooking Ørnsø. All in all, the most wonderful days in Silkeborg. Kind regards, Helle and Alistair

The apartment is located in the middle of the picturesque lake landscape with free lakeside resorts and great hiking. You can start directly on foot. The train station is also within walking distance. Trains to Aarhus run every 30 minutes. Silkeborg itself offers everything you need. A pretty city with pedestrian zone, a supermarket is 5 minutes from the property. Parking is available in the surrounding streets free of charge (10 minutes to the apartment). Unloading works easily in front of the house. The place is quiet and is equipped with everything you need. Even a casserole dish was available. The apartment is very clean and stylishly furnished. Arrangements and assistance worked smoothly. We will be happy to come back.

Excellent central place if you go to Herning. Spacious and modern apartment. Easy to find and good with the parking space in front.

Lis' apartment was wonderfully and comfortably furnished, so we felt very comfortable. It was superbly equipped and had a magnificent view across the lake.

It was a real pleasure to enjoy Jesper and Britta's house. The garden is fantastic, the rooms are large, with comfortable beds; the living room and kitchen are also very well sized and well equipped. Maybe the bathroom is a little small, especially if a large family is traveling. In our case there were 3 of us, including our 6-year-old son who enjoyed the toys in the house and in the garden, and was attracted to all its corners from the moment he arrived. It is very close to Billund by car, it takes 20 minutes from the airport and Legoland. Jesper and Britta are very friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. In the living room we found a beautiful bouquet of flowers from their garden upon arrival, which is a good example of the affection and care with which they take care of their guests.

I can't complain about anything. Christophe's house is just incredibly cozy and there are lots of things to do around. Christophe himself is a very nice and helpful person who is always available and offers help. Even though I was new to AirBnB, he put his trust in me and I can enjoy our long-term stay in Denmark with my family!

We had a wonderful autumn vacation at the cottage with annex. The area is beautiful in the autumn. The cottage is easy to heat and minimalist but complete. The beds are good and everything is hey fresh and clean. We had a little problem with the shower and that was solved the same dates! In 20 minutes you are in Aarhus and other attractions are also close by and easy to drive to. Shops are 7 mins away. Very nice place!

We had a great time in Henrik's summer house. The house is furnished with a lot of charm and attention to detail. Everything you need is available. It is very clean and offers a beautiful view over a field, the Venø Bugt into the town of Struer, from the porch and kitchen window. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking, biking or larger exploration trips by car or motorcycle. With air conditioning and a fireplace, you'll be nice and warm in the house even on colder days. Henrik is a friendly, helpful and very service-oriented host. He makes you feel right at home.

We had a lovely stay at this vacation home. The peace and space were very pleasant. A beautiful environment and lots of fun activities can do. The round around the nearby lake is nice for hiking, we were able to paddle and there are many nice and quiet beaches nearby. We also enjoyed visiting Viborg and Aalborg and the Aqua park in Silkeborg is also very nice with young children. On the last night we discovered how tasty the pizzas of the campsite across the road.

3 wonderful days with my family in beautiful and quiet surroundings. Day trips by car to Silkeborg and Aarhus, where we took a route on Himmelbjerget and visited Aros. Cozy mornings and evenings in the lovely countryside home with games, tea, and candles. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to try the wilderness bath, which was right out on the terrace.

We are a family of 3 with 1 teenager. We stayed 3 nights in the nice house of Anita. It was very adapted for us as we wanted to visit LegoLand on our from Copenhagen to south DK. The house is fully functional and the beach is also very nice!

Maria's house was cozy and lovingly furnished. There was everything you need and beyond that you were allowed to use their things if you forgot something. Afterwards, you bought it again. She and her husband speak good German and we also met and got along well. The location of the house between the fjord and the sea was spectacular. If you want the silence and the Danish "Hygge", this is the place to be. The only deduction in the review for us was the dust and the older mattresses. Since our son is allergic, we initially had some problems with him. However, this did not matter significantly to us. We would love to come back!
