We would like to welcome you to come and stay in our lovely guesthouse at our farm in the heart of Skagafjordur. Here you can relax and enjoy your evening in our hot tub, take a walk to visit our calm and gentle horses, we also own a beautiful lake and we are "forest farmers" i.e. we plant 10.000 trees each year and we can highly recommend a stroll through our young forest to the lake. There will be sheep, chicken, cats and dogs around and next to the house there is a beautiful old church:)

Such a beautiful place tucked in the mountains. We were not expecting the physical beauty that surrounded us. Perfect size for a damily of 5. Would definitely recommend if you want to be outside of the city. About a 45 minute drive to downtown Rekyjavic.

Our stay here was very peaceful and relaxing. It was a short distance from the local town, which is exactly what we wanted. Without light pollution, the aurora was brillant and visable for three nights of our stay. We enjoyed watching the horses in a nearby pasture. The house was very comfortable and excellent set up. We would highly recommend!

Perfect first stay of our vacation. Close to the airport, beautiful location. Communication with Solveig was good and clear. Directions are very clear. Cottage was clean and spacious. Definitely a recommendation to stay.
