We were the only ones there for the night. Easy check in once location was sent to us, gorgeous unobstructed views. Would return in a heart beat!

Great place! Amazing location, very stylish interior design, would definitely recommend. The downside was that the other guests were quite loud since 4am or so but I guess this isn’t Kex’s fault

Zeno was very kind from the beginning and answered all our questions in great detail. We booked breakfast and were greeted by Mario, a guy from La Mancha who was there on an internship. This Guesthouse is in a corner of paradise, a vast quiet and relaxing clearing There are two bathrooms available for guests (one with a shower only), two very well equipped kitchens, all kept really clean and tidy (the rooms as pictured, delicious). Highly recommended!!

We had a great stay! The instructions were very clear and the room was nice.

Part of the adventure of staying here is your host, his very welcoming presence, fun stories, and awesome waffles! His place is definitely lived-in, but it is homey, warm, and very close to a lot of amazing sights to see! Would definitely recommend, Thank you Snæbjörn!

The house is very nicely located and clean. Although there are many rooms and guests, there is no problem using the bathroom or showers as there is a sink and two bathrooms. Whenever I needed to use them they were available For check-in you have to pick up the keys in a lockbox, which is very good because you can check in whenever you want and without disturbing anyone. The only downside was to stay with us while they renovate the house as the noise was annoying and there were workers around. As for everything else, everything has been going well. I would repeat

Needed a last minute stay and this was really all that was left when booking, it was nice and clean and a good place to rest in middle of nowhere land.

We had a lovely time! The room was as expected and the grounds had some extra benefits like a dinner restaurant and hot tub. Highly recommend! It’s worth the trek off the main road.

Good stay for one night during our travels, very clean! A kitchen would have been nice though, and it’s a bit noisy in the morning because you can hear your room neighbours. But we slept very well. Nice beds.

I recommend the lamb for dinner, it was tasty! The place is very warm and cozy! Breakfast is included and it was great too! I'll definitely be back again!

great accomdation close to Myvatn. Easy to access. well sized with good bathroom, very comfy bed and breakfast included. I managed to see the northern lights there which made this stay even more special.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Hjarðarból! The owner was incredibly friendly and responsive, making sure that everything was perfect throughout my stay. The hot tub was absolutely amazing, providing a perfect way to relax. The location is quiet and peaceful, making it a great retreat from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a stay on ring road Highway N1.

We had a fantastic stay here! The location couldn't have been better perfectly situated near Geysir making it easy to explore the area. The accommodation itself was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. From comfortable bedding to all the essential amenities, everything was well-prepared. The kitchen was particularly impressive—it had all the necessary cookware, utensils, and appliances, making it easy for us to prepare meals just like at home. Overall, a wonderful experience! We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. Would definitely return!

The room was a described with a separate entrance and private bathroom. It was clean and good enough for 3 adults. It was easy to find, even though it is close to the highway #1,it was very quiet and private. Anairda’s advice were useful and we appreciated a kettle that she left for us per our response. The house is close to the hikes and sightseeing areas. I’d highly recommend to rent this place and would definitely come back if I have a chance to visit this beautiful country. Nice modern place and even hot tubs. good even for 4 people to stay there one night and visit the forest lagoon and eat some very yummy ice cream in Akureyri.

Great place in the corner of peninsula, better to driver there since wonderful views around the location( in the national park). Price is very affordable and quiet, host has hundreds of notes everywhere in the room that you cannot make any mistakes by following the instructions. She is soooo nice and friendly, first choice of Airbnb in Snaefellsjokull.
