Had a lovely two night stay, beautiful surroundings, peaceful, clean and comfortable. Able to walk to local shop and pub. Scafell Pike, beach and The Lakes not far by car Great host, good communication

a large beautiful house in a peaceful, remote and serene location. The house was stocked with lots of towels, plenty of glasses, cups and cutlery. Lots of space for a group to hangout and eat together. hosts were great and responded quickly. the fire was delightful.

This place is absolutely gorgeous, peaceful and welcoming. If you choose to stay here, you will have some sheeps as your neighbour, with a beautiful scenery. It was easy to find and the house was super clean and fresh smelling. :)

Our stay at Wayside was fantastic! The house was impeccably clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. It really is a fantastic house and garden. We can’t wait to come back!
