Monthly Rentals in Hushinish

Staying in this beach side pod was a magical few days, perfectly located on the side of the sand flats leading to Seilebost beach. The pod itself was cozy, well thought out and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. We were lucky enough to meet Julia and her hubby- warm, welcoming, and full of local insight that made our stay even more special. Safe and shallow waters at the end of the garden meant I could swim confidently. Harris has a wonderful rhythm all its own. Can't wait to go back!

We were on a road trip in our camper when the weather turned. We needed somewhere to stay ASAP. Our hosts were very quick to respond and get the property ready, even though it was out of season. We were so grateful and relieved to have such a cosy home to escape the rain and winds. We particularly loved chilling around the open fire, painting, reading and playing games. Thank you so much! Jonathan was an excellent host. Communication around the booking was clear and it was easy to find the bothy and check in. Situated in Stockinish, a small fishing village on the south of the island, and nestled between hilly rocks, we felt completely isolated (only seeing a couple of people for the whole trip duration) and lucky to have such an amazing landscape virtually to ourselves. The road to the bothy was easily accessible from the main road, and is only a short distance from lovely beaches and amenities in Tarbert. The bothy did not disappoint. Cozy and beautifully decorated, it was well heated and was the perfect place to retreat to after a day exploring the island. I would really recommend staying here, especially in the offseason!

We had a great time - the property is clean, spacious and fantastically well equipped. The Welcome Book was full of tips and recommendations and Dawn is helpful and quick to respond. The property is conveniently located in the centre of Tarbert with the near, but not intrusive, ferry terminal. A comfortable bed in a peaceful setting. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
