We had a wonderful time on the island of Scalpay (Harris). The house is fabulous! It's beautifully decorated, has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. It was a really cosy and comfortable place to spend time in a beautiful quiet location but just a short drive to Tarbert for things you might need. The situation of the house is spectacular and the whole of Lewis and Harris are outstanding places of natural beauty to explore. Mary Jane and Ian could not have been more helpful with information before we arrived and during the stay. They went above and beyond in helping us when we had some ferry issues which meant we had to extend our stay, they were great hosts!

What a magical place to stay! The views and location were incredible and the house itself was so clean and well appointed. It was our wedding anniversary during our stay and we had lovely surprises waiting for us upon our arrival, which made our celebration extra special - very thoughtful and generous of our hosts! We had the most wonderful time in Portree and on Skye and can’t thank David, Alexander and Katherine enough for their kindness, hospitality and for sharing their beautiful home with us ❤️

Had a wonderful stay at Pasha's place. In a great spot central to the many sights and activities on Skye, and it was great to have this location as a home base. Also very walkable to restaurants/pubs in Portree, near the grocery store, and very nice to have a reserved parking spot. Pasha was a wonderful host who was very responsive and even helped us out when some issues came up during our trip. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Duncan and Emma’s place on the Isle of Skye was absolutely unforgettable. The pictures of the view—especially of the water, islands and sunsets—are beautiful, but they truly don’t do it justice. Sitting on the sofa and watching the sun dip below the horizon through the large front windows was simply stunning. Their local recommendations for food and coffee were spot on. Every place we visited had its own quirky charm and served up delicious food, adding even more character to our trip. Duncan and Emma were fantastic hosts—super responsive to our messages and always happy to assist when needed. I genuinely couldn’t fault them in any way. Thank you both for such a memorable stay!

Our second visit to Mora certainly lived up to our expectations. Mora is very well equipped with everything you will need for your stay and is spotlessly clean for your arrival. We can highly recommend Mora to ayone looking for accommodation in our beautiful island. Thank you, again, Morag. We had a brilliant stay in Hebrides Cottage, owner Janice was excellent with her quick, helpful communication….we found everything we could possibly want or need was provided…..it was exceptionally clean. The cottage was in a fantastic peaceful location, the views from the bedrooms and kitchen were absolutely amazing. We visited local restaurants in Stornoway, and it was very easy to drive in to go to a variety of small shops and get supplies from the large Tesco and Co-op supermarkets. We visited many local sites, Callanish Stones, Dun Calloway - the best preserved Broch, Gearrannan Blackhorse, Butt of Lewis, Lews Castle and the very informative museum about Hebridean island life, we will definitely come back to stay again. Thank you Janice for a great stay.

Blossom Cottage - Luxury Self Catering

We were very happy about our choice of cottage; particularly as it is pet friendly. Our hosts were very proactive in terms of communication - it was good to be warned about being well prepared in terms of provisions - no nearby shops! The cottage is wonderfully peaceful which suited us; it was also wonderfully warm - especially the bathroom with its heated floor; this made the cottage an excellent retreat on the one day of bad weather that we had , if necessary the bathroom could have been used as a drying room! We enjoyed the space; properties with just one bedroom can be cramped but as the photos show, there is a table with 4 chairs in the kitchen; the lounge has two sofas and in the bedroom you can easily walk on both sides of the bed. The bedroom has generous storage. The surrounding garden is a delight. Another reason for choosing Blossom Cottage was that it was reasonably close to the Three Chimneys restaurant. There are many excellent walks nearby, some of which we enjoyed.

Sally’s place was spotlessly clean and welcoming! She has set it up so that you feel you are visiting family. I loved the cookbooks and great novels she has throughout the house. A good rainy day activity. Sally gave great information on getting there and things to do! We were able to easily drive to all the places of interest on Skye from the house. This is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting!

I’m from Skye, family is there. And it was a perfect place for us to stay close to family on a visit. It was absolutely A1 ever was brilliant and we didn’t want to leave. This is a beautiful house in a stunning location. Better even than the photos. It was very cosy and peaceful, with amazing views over the loch from virtually every window. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfy and there is an amazing sound system. Next time we are coming to Skye I will definitely book here again. Thanks Juliet for the lovely stay.

Ann’s place was sparkling clean and had very clear instructions about each and everything. It’s also near to the sunset point and many other popular locations in Skye. Views are breathtaking. Never wanted to return back, wish we could have booked for more days. Would definitely book again if we go to Skye.
