In a cottage snug, where the meadows lie, With cows that moo and swallows fly, We found a stay so calm, so sweet, With charm and comfort hard to beat. Our little girls, with smiles so wide, Fed the chickens side by side, Watched the cattle, big and slow, In fields that seemed to softly glow. The views stretched out—pure countryside bliss, A place like this, you can't dismiss. Inside, the style—just wow, so fine, Each corner touched with thoughtful design. Thank you, hosts, for memories made, Where cows and calm and joy all stayed. A perfect stay, we'd come again, This cottage is a rare, true gem.

We stayed at Barbara’s airbnb for a night while we attended a wedding at the Croft Hotel. The location of the airbnb was perfect for us. The space and cleanliness was an added bonus.

Stay was very enjoyable. The location is quiet and private. Craig was a great host. Would book again and intend to soon.

We had the pleasure of staying at Stephen's place for a week over Christmas, a family of three with a well-behaved pooch. The house is very well maintained, super clean, and up-to-date. The kitchen is very well stocked with good quality cookware, everything that you could want to rustle up meals with. The two televisions were easy to use (the one in the kitchen will take a firestick), the front room furniture is very comfortable and the bedrooms were pristine, with very comfortable beds and good quality bedding. The bathrooms and ensuite were also of high quality - the showers are nice and powerful. The standard here is as good as you would find in any quality hotel and the location is absolutely perfect if you are looking for something close to Darlington, especially if you have a dog with you. Hurworth village has some excellent gastro-pubs and plenty of amenities, nice walks too. All of these are a very easy and short walk from the house.
