If you’re looking for peace, quiet, and breathtaking scenery, this cabin is everything you could hope for and more. Tucked away in the heart of nature, it felt like our own private slice of Norway. The views were unreal snow capped mountains, waterfalls and fjords. The cabin itself was cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully decorated with everything we needed, including a wood-burning stove and sauna with a view. Highly, highly recommend!

We stayed at Ulrik and Susanne’s place for a month, working remotely. It was a great retreat into nature: quiet, slow paced, and with an amazing view over the fjord from the living room. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area with our dog when the weather was good as much as cocooning by a wood fire when it rained. The area is just stunningly beautiful in any season! Ulrik, Susanne, and Ulrik’s parents were wonderful hosts: responsive, welcoming, accommodating and just allround fun to get to meet (and their border collie Sara is super friendly as well :)). We would very happily visit again!

Great host, great accommodation.

The view and surroundings were stunning. It would have been great to get outside, but we were there one night and it was very rainy. This was a camping/glamping experience. Very few amenities- no shower, refrigerator, or even outlets (only car charger ports). But it was a picturesque view with a cozy bed. There was a snack and drink on the bed when we arrived and we even found some blueberries and blackberries outside. The drive there was also gorgeous, we had fun stopping along the way from Bergen!
