Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at at Maitham's house. It's a beautiful house, with breathtaking views. Highly recommended to everyone who is going to Whitehaven or anywhere close. House has all the amenities, and you will feel just like home. Thanks to Maitham and his team to make it a great experience.

I couldn’t recommend this place enough!! Janice is a dream Airbnb host, her responses are extremely quick, the house itself was super clean and furnished beautifully. It has absolutely everything you need inside. Janice kindly left us bread, milk, juice, fruit and more!! We enjoyed our stay so much we extended another night. The location is great if you’re looking to climb Scafell Pike, I’d say it’s under a 40 min drive and Lake Buttermere is the same (also a very scenic drive). There was Netflix/Prime etc on the TV and board games to hand. We found it extremely cosy and luckily the sun came out so we could make the most of the garden for an evening. Honestly couldn’t recommend enough. Thanks Janice - we would definitely love to return!
