Vacation rentals with lake access in Howe Sound

The house is comfortable and beautifully decorated, with an amazing location to top it off. Barb was lovely to communicate with and was very responsive with any questions we had. Great for a girls weekend away or a family vacation, there is something for everyone. We will happily stay there again!

Courtney and her husband were lovely, charming hosts. Every interaction with them was great; so personable, so warm. Staying in their suite surpassed any other Airbnb experience I have had. The interior is well appointed, clean, and relaxing. They have great mattresses, wonderful linens and beautiful fluffy towels. Everything about it led to me feeling at home instantaneously. The back yard is enormous, well kept, and there is ample area to relax and enjoy the outdoors. It is hard for me to say enough to describe how perfect my time at their home was.

It was an enchanting experience that lived up to all the beautiful photos on the listing . True BC West Coast experience. We will be back soon for sure.

Fantastic stay at this cabin. The setting was peaceful and the cabin itself was beautiful, with easy walking access to beaches, trails, and local shops. It truly felt like one of Bowen Island’s hidden gems. Jennifer and Alan were kind, responsive, and made the experience even more enjoyable.

We had the most amazing time here! In total we had 6 of us, 4 adults and our 1 yr old twins stayed here for the weekend and it was the most magical place. Lots of room for everyone, and the most perfect outdoor space. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a great space out of town. We will definitely be staying here on any of our future Sunshine Coast visits. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and very well decorated, everything looks brand new. The beds are comfortable and the entire place was extremely clean. Walking distance to the lake and ocean. I would recommend this place for people with kids as well as people with pets.

Our stay was an extended one while we did renovations on our home. The suite was very clean and spacious and suited us perfectly! Nancy and Andy were fantastic hosts and great people, very friendly and welcoming. They were very quick to respond to any messages and also checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy with our stay. We recommend them and their suite without hesitation!

We really enjoyed our stay at Kristen's with our toddler and dog. Was wonderful to have access to a yard and to be close by Trout Lake. The space was very clean and had everything we needed and more for a wonderful stay.

Colin’s ground floor apartment was very easy to get in and out of, parking was very well described and fit our giant rental SUV, the place had just about the right amount of amenities - well stocked kitchen with seasonings, oils, coffee - yea(!), plenty of towels, the washer and dryer were very appreciated, ample bedding, comfortable beds, fans, blankets. The apartment was quiet and spacious enough to fit a portable crib in the master, the workout room was a nice addition and straightforward to get into. My only major complaint was that there wasn’t a hair dryer, but luckily one of our group packed one and shared, so I didn’t have to go buy one. I did have to clean a fan before we felt comfortable using it, and another bedside table in the extra bedroom for phones, etc. would be nice, but other than that, we were well provided for. Colin was easy to communicate with both before and while at the property. I would highly recommend staying at Colin’s place.

We immediately fell in love with Tao’s place when we set foot into the room. It was pristine clean and aesthetically pleasing. The place has all the amenities we need and cozy. I like it that there are supermarkets around the vicinity ie T&T supermarket, Nesters. Near the harbour. Near a pharmacy. Really good value for the location. Totally recommended. Just be on the lookout for a few homeless folks.

Colin’s place is conveniently located, clean and maintained well, and has great amenities for a weeklong stay. Colin is also very friendly, responsive, and helpful. I would highly recommend his apartment for a stay in Nanaimo.

This Airbnb is in the PERFECT spot! You can walk to literally everything – the harbor, Stanley Park, shops, restaurants... it's amazing. The host was super nice and always got back to me right away if I needed anything. The place itself is a bit cozy, so if you need tons of space it might not be the best fit. But if you're like me and plan to be out exploring most of the time, it's ideal. Perfect for solo travelers or couples who want to be in the heart of Vancouver!

Daniel’s place had great views, felt safe and was super convenient, near to a Costco, all types of food options and also the train station. Walking to downtown was easy and Daniel was simply a perfect host, really helpful and kind. Appreciate it all!

A great place to stay. Perfect accommodations for our needs and close walking distance to everything. Very clean and a stunning view. Jessica was quick to answer any questions we had. We would love to stay here again next time we are in the area.

The cabin of your childhood dreams…sit back, relax, enjoy the lake and connect with family/friends. North Lake has fabulous swimming and almost no bugs. The cabin has a lovely view and lots of different areas to sleep. Lynne was a great host, very attentive and communicative. We had a lovely time, thanks Lynne.

We had a great stay at Andrew’s place. There was a small issue with the heating but he was very responsive and did his best to solve the problem. The cottage had everything you need to cook a family meal and a fire that heats up the whole living space. Overall it was a lovely cottage to spend a long weekend.

Over on the Sunshine Coast for work. This is the fourth time we have stayed at Jonathan's place (twice last year, twice this year). As always everything very clean and all the required amenities. Very peaceful / private location. Will certainly stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Michelle’s place! The surroundings were stunning, with a beautiful water view and a lovely garden that made the experience even more special. Michelle was an incredible host, very kind, responsive, and thoughtful. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, even staying up late just to welcome us and ensure we had everything we needed. When we requested extra bakeware, she provided it right away. The home felt cozy and inviting, truly a home away from home. We highly recommend staying here!

We stayed 3 nights in Colin's cabine. it was the last days of our honeymoon. It was absolutly perfect! We loved our stay. We loved the cabine. It’s not that rustic. The bed, the sheets, the towels, the dishes are new. The cabine is in between the woods and the sea. the view is spectacular. We saw many animals. It’s calm and lovely. The town and the restaurants are at 15 min by car. You can relax, walk, reflect and enjoy life. Last but not least, Colin is really nice, reactive and helpful. He seems to be a really good person.
