Enjoy a massive sun deck that overlooks the Salish Sea, Gambier Island and surrounding mountains. Step out to a large yard with plenty of fresh air, peace and tranquility, a courtyard and a fire pit. Whether you’re here for outdoor adventure or a peaceful retreat, this space is the perfect home base. Walk to the ocean, explore shops and trails, or visit ski hills like Whistler, Grouse, Cypress, and Seymour. The suite includes a private entrance, kitchen, cozy living area, and comfortable bedroom—your quiet retreat after a day of exploring.

South facing, sheltered from most of the wind, walk-on oceanfront in the city! Large deck, Solarium, Hot-tub, Kayaks and stunning views (Brandon Islands, Newcastle Island Provincial Park, Birds, Seals, Otters, Boats, Fisheries Canada docks). Swim, Paddle board, Kayak, Beach comb, Picnic or just relax - beside the salt water and a patch of old forest. Nanaimo is centrally located, permitting day trips to Vancover, Victoria and even Tofino. Luke (myself) reside in the suite.

Bench 170

Welcome to Bench 170. You will enjoy the very private entire upper floor and use of the yard as guest space. This house is a West Coast Modern built in 2012. A delight for architect enthusiasts and art lovers alike as it was a venue for the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl for several years. There is a public beach access directly adjacent to the property that takes you down to a cobble stone beach looking west to the Georgia Strait. Please refer to Policy and Rules for pets.

Brand New Oceanfront Harbour & Island View Studio

Step back in time with a stay at our newly renovated historic beachfront property on the Sunshine Coast. Grantham House was once a bustling community hub as the local post office and general store, and beginning in the 1920's, a favoured summer stop of the Union Steamships Company. This unique studio suite, named after the Lady Evelyn steamship that once docked here, offers a serene escape with breathtaking views of Keats Island and oceanfront access.

Start your day off right with sweeping ocean views and watch the world awaken! Meditate and stretch in the warm rays before planning a day of adventure on idyllic Bowen Island. Cap it all off with a feast on the deck or lie down and gaze at the stars or follow the rising moon. Please note there is an enclosed suite with a tenant (not the owner), the suite is self contained with a separate entrance and is heavily soundproofed for minimal interaction.
