Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Huset står flot med lækkert køkken og bad og alt hvad et hus skal have. 10 min gang fra skøn sandstrand. Der er fri adgang til kajakker, SUP, bålsted, cykler og fiskestænger. Der er alt hvad man kan ønske sig med 3 skønne træterrasser, så man har mulighed at følge solen fra tidlig morgen til sen aften, samt udebad, udekøkkenen og endda en shelter hvis man vil tættere på naturen.

Our modern summerhouse is situated at Oroe in Isefjorden. The house lies on a 'hilly' plot owerlooking Isefjorden almost at the end of a gravel road. From the beach you can fish and swim.
