Monthly Rentals in Hood

Highly recommend this beautiful place. I took my camera and got lots of photos of Louie the super friendly big white dog, chickens, goats, wild turkeys, deer and several ponds and a shallow river. Inter tubes were included. Lots of great outdoor walking and picnic tables to enjoy the fantastic views of the mountains. I really enjoyed Trish beautiful artwork throughout the room. All I can say is I’m excited to visit again…real soon!

very nice place for our group to serve as a home base during a recent fishing and hiking trip into shenandoah. very close to Graves Mill trailhead, and also very conveniently close to grocery stores and restaurants and other services. the house itself was comfortable and clean, and we appreciate it the well-supplied fire pit (they actually have two, one in front and another in back). worked well for relaxing, preparing food, the other r&r in between activities.

We had a great time at Chris' place in Hood. We felt at home the minute we were in the house. Lots of sunlight which we really enjoyed. Great deck to hand out and a nice BBQ that we used two days. The Conway river is walking distance from the property and my husband and daughter enjoyed fishing after our hiking. The property is great and has everything needed for a perfect getaway in the mountains. The Shenandoah NP is 15 min by car. The property is quiet and secluded, the beds are super comfy. Thank for providing coffee :). This airbnb is highly recommended, Chris was responsive and provided a guide of things to do in the area.

The apartment was just as described/pictured. Alexandra was very responsive to all of my messages. The apartment was very conveniently located to Shenandoah National Park- about 15 minutes from the Swift Run Gap Entrance Station. The area around the apartment was beautiful as well. It was perfect for a long weekend trip with my dog!
