Arthur's place in a simple word is incredible. It was very tastefully renovated with top notch amenities and style decorated well. All high line appliances to fixtures throughout. From heated floors to electric window shades. TVs everywhere as well as skylink WiFi. All clean and new. Anything you could ask for was there. Comfy beds and linens. completely equipped kitchen and great coffee makers! The driveway is definitely recommended for 4wd vehicles being very steep and curvy. A very relaxing and warm cozy home. Off the beaten path for sure in the woods, but worth the drive.

Heaven on earth. My wife and I recently had our honeymoon here at firnew studio i don't think we could of found anywhere better. we love the mountains, and they certainly did not disappoint. the Shenandoah region is absolutely magical. Trish and David ensured my wife and I had everything we could possibly need. every need small and big was met promptly and with pleasure. they provided us with local recommendations as well as tips and information about the surrounding areas. the property was everything the pictures and descriptions described and even more. the river was beautiful and perfect for swimming the walking trails were stunning and well kept, the farm fresh eggs were absolutely delightful. The ponds were loaded with decent sized sunfish and large mouth bass. our full time guide Louie the great pyrenees felt like family to us, he walked with us everywhere we went and he had the most amazing manners, we wanted to dognap him so badly lol. the studio itself was cozy and perfect.

We had a such a wonderful time! Everything we needed was there and more: plenty of coffee, granola bars for the hikes, coal for the grill. We felt right at home. Thank you for this wonderful place!

The bird nest was a wonderful place to stay! The house was beautiful and clean, and the host was generous to offer us a bottle of local wine. Would recommend this place to others.
