Quaint Guest Suite in country - outside of Tupelo

We had a wonderful stay at Amy and Larry’s charming tiny home! Everything was incredibly clean and well cared for, and we truly enjoyed all of the unique historical touches throughout the space, it gave the home such character. We also took some time to walk the property and loved seeing the beautiful fruit trees. Their sweet dog, Ace, was a highlight, so friendly and gentle. We especially appreciated the great conversation we had with Amy and Larry. They are such warm and welcoming hosts. Thank you for your hospitality and for creating such a peaceful place to stay! Nice place to rest

SarahRating, 5 stars2 days ago
My friend and I met up for a reunion in late June. We took our things in, turned on the air conditioning (one window unit, two mini-splits, one portable) and then left for a couple of hours to go eat. When we returned the air conditioning was not working and it was HOT! We messaged Rebeca and she sent her husband to our rescue an hour later. He was able to fix both mini splits, and showed me how to put an ice pack in the portable stand-alone. There were no instructions anywhere about this, but it really didn't matter, because when turned on it made a horrible noise that never abated. So I could only use the fan part of this. This is the front bedroom, and it was always warm until about midnight or one a.m. I would recommend getting another mini-split for that room. The rest of the place was fine and comfortable. We LOVED the back yard and the grounds were gorgeous. We enjoyed watching the ducks and chickens troop by us in straight lines. Rebeca and her husband were very kind!

Dr. Thomas building Apt. 1, built in 1840.

LisaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The place was easy to find and access. The stairwell would benefit greatly from some lighting. Our stay was comfortable. Our only complaint was that the shower was cold and would not heat up. Otherwise I would recommend to family that would be staying to visit.
