Kikut is 1020 meters above sea level, is snow-proof, rich in sun and a fantastic starting point for all-round activity all year, like cross country and alpine skiing in winter, and bike and mountain hiking in summer. The apartment is located right by the Kikut elevator and here is ski-in/out. From the apartment there is also direct access to miles of cross country skiing. In the summer, you have great hiking trails right outside the door. Vestlia, which is in the vicinity, has ski and bike rental, climbing park, ziplines and swimming pool.

High and low climbing park is only 300m away, and about 500m away is Strandafjorden swimming area! Ål ski center is 8 km and to Geilo only 23 km. Hemsedal ski center is 56 km from the cabin. Hardangervidda about 35 km. On the mountains around, you can pick and choose from amazing ski slopes in winter and walking paths in the summer! The activity opportunities are just as good both winter and summer!

The cabin has an attractive location in Budalen, approx. 5 km from Geilo city centre. Budalen is a pearl for those who love great nature. Here there is fantastic hiking terrain in summer and winter, and several miles of prepared ski slopes, as well as a short distance to the nearest alpine facility. The cabin sleeps 12 and is equipped with two bathrooms, private sports entrance for convenient storage. Outside the cabin there is a large undisturbed and sunny patio with a Jacuzzi. Here you can relax after long days of hiking.

Winterparking is 5-10 minutes away by cross country skis as the roads leading all the way to the cabin in summer, are ski runs in winter. "Cinderella Ecocat" incineration toilet. Our cabin was renovated and rebuilt in the fall of 2022 and we could warmly welcome you and your travel companions! The cabin contains three bedrooms with double beds in addition to the loft/loft with double sofa bed. Large bathroom with washer/dryer and well equipped Kitchen. In the loft there is a TV that is connected to broadband, so you can stream what you want to see. Large porch with outdoor furniture and fire pit. Possibility to charge EV.
