Old Fashioned Stunner

Original, Kiwi, 50's family bach with its own direct access to Coopers Beach. Rumpty, but comfy, and sitting on a large private section with room for cars and a boat. The bach is very private and quiet. It has magnificent uninterrupted views across Doubtless Bay, and you can walk down to the beach via a private path through the trees in 2 minutes. The bach has a heat pump, heaters and lots of blankets so that it remains cosy at night. We think it's the perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

We could not recommend Katharine’s place enough! It is one of the best airbnbs we have stayed at. We were absolutely stunned by the breathtaking views of Matauri Bay - that you can see from nearly every angle of the home. The home is beautifully furnished inside and out and has everything you need and more. The peace, quiet and privacy of the home make it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We really enjoyed the ease of access to the beach and the well thought out features of the home such as the outdoor shower. Katharine was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

I loved staying here so much. So beautiful, right on the beach, can't ask for better than that. The view from the deck and inside was so nice. You can hear the waves inside the unit. The cable bay store is very close. Such a lovely place in the far north. I would love to stay here again.

Karen & Peter were great hosts. They greeted us upon arrival and departure, toured us around their Airbnb, and even had a little local guide book. They’re lovely people and their space is very clean. We were really happy with how complete their utensils for cooking were. We highly recommend their place for anyone looking for a home away from home at the Far North.

Beautiful sunsets, Best Beach location. Clean, modern ground floor apartment, every thing you'll need provided. Access to beach across the road, we walked along the beach daily. Central to other areas 5minutes north and south. close to many other beautiful beaches. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

We had a wonderful stay at Cooper’s Beach. The views from the deck are incredible and the beautiful beach is just a short walk down the steps. Great BBQ on the deck. The Bach Man, David, offered to provide a high chair for our baby which was much appreciated since we were traveling from the United States. A great find!

One of the most unique airbnbs, with one of the best views in the world. Believe all the reviews! This Bach hidden away along the north coast of nz is stunningly breathtaking! 360degree views, islands, boats, sunsets, the calm Pacific Ocean, birds, dolphins, completely private and you’re own gorgeous beach! What more can you ask for really??? We were two but the bach comfortably fits more! And has everything you need! We will definitely keep coming back! What a rare find! Amazing views over the Bay Of Islands from the north facing sun filled deck. The apartment was super clean and comfortable in every space. Fresh fruit, warm bread, home made continental breakfast supplied daily was a nice treat to wake up to each day. We 100% recommended staying here and would certainly stay again.
