Fully self contained 2 bdrm cottage on a lifestyle farm. (Tariff is for 2 people). We have a small herd of cattle, including 3 Scottish Highlands. The bulk of the land is in native bush, with bush walks. 1 km from the Pou Herenga Tai cycle way, & about 30 mins drive from both Kaikohe & Kerikeri. With a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, dining room/lounge - it is comfortable, warm and homely. Limited Wifi and Freeview TV available. Our home till we built our new house (see photos).

Linen and towels are provided and fibre has just been installed. It is a place to completely unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle and enjoy all that Northland has to offer. This home has been in the family for 26 years and is to be enjoyed and respected. No pets allowed.

The information centre is next door as is the 4 square, fish n chip shop and the Opononi Pub! The cottage, which we treasure, has been refurbished - it is our private oasis and is to be respected and enjoyed - it is the genuine much loved "kiwi bach".

We have easy access to the property with a lock up double garage plus off street parking (even for a boat). The beach is only a short walk from the house. Amazing unobstructed 180° view of the Hokianga harbor. Beautiful modern one bedroom place. All day sun. Full kitchen, great appliances. Awesome BBQ. Outdoor bath! Outdoor furniture. Perfect place for a romantic get away or to escape the madness, chill and think. UV and micro-filtered rain water. Great wifi. Super comfy inside. Outside lounge on the deck. 10 acres of native NZ bush to have to yourself.
