House vacation rentals in Hokandara

This was our first stay out of a few others in Sri Lanka. We had an amazing time. We, as a family of 5 stayed 2 nights at Lalin's place and it was a great start to our trip. Luxurio villa with greenery all around, not too far from city centre. Well spacious rooms and all available amenities at the kitchen made it a perfect stay. Cherry on the cake was the swimming pool which calls you to take a dip after a busy touristy dayout :-) Lalin and the caretaker was proactive, helped us with a flexible early check-in and also took care of our queries in advance. This property is a definite recommendation for anyone visiting Colombo. Thanks, Bithika

Great location, and more than I expected. We had a great time and the host was really good at checking in on us and making the whole trip smooth. He taught how to turn on the POOL JACUZZI!! It was amazing! The bed sheets and towels were brand new or felt new! The space was spotless. We walked right across to the beach and had some amazing food! Surprise is mentioned the hosts name and you get some great service. Everyone seems to know him! The backyard is really quiet and you can have a lovely drink in the Gazebo overlooking the pool. This was a great find! I would recommend this for single and family visitors! Sri Lanka is amazing and the host is a true island hospitality king! We felt safe in the house and the neighborhood. Great WiFi and fully stocked kitchen! Bathrooms were spotless and great shower pressure. We loved it all and wished we stayed longer.

We had a good stay at this property. It was fully-equipped and had all the convenience. Communication was good too.

Sebastian’s place was a great place to unwind after lots of flights… arrived late at night. Spent 2 nights so a whole day to chill. Pool was lovely and great size, set amongst a lovely tropical garden. Sebastian was so SO helpful and we asked lots of annoying questions. BREAKFAST WAS DELICIOUS. His driver Mr Neluka that he had suggested was super lovely, great English and gave us heaps of info. Drove us to Kandy via elephant orphanage. We had a fab lunch together. If he’s an available hopefully we will be able to have again during our three weeks here. Where the Airbnb is situated is not touristy. Easy reach from Colombo and Negombo alike. Easy to Uber or Pick me apps for a TukTuk. Supermarket close by. This was perfect for us. Thank you for your patience and kindness. I hope one day you can visit our Airbnb in NZ.

Location is perfect and very convenient to all amnesties. Upeksha is responding very quickly and friendly. Very clean home with nice pool. no parking issues. Prefer to go again and there is no hesitation to recommend this place.

Chinthake was super responsive and always really helpful. He was extremely accommodating and I had lots of little requests. The place felt like home and we really enjoyed our stay. The housekeeper - Thilakaratne was super friendly and helpful too. Gotta give it to him and Chinthake for being so accommodating. We’ll definitely stay next year as well 😊

Enjoyed the stay..very quiet once inside the house. Flet like home with ample space to walk around.

Have just spent our 2nd stay here. For us, the garden is why we returned, which is kept very tidy by Velu. So peaceful to relax in during the day, with plenty of varied wildlife to entertain you during the day, especially the chipmunks. Our bedroom was comfortable, bed linen clean, a/c & ceiling fan kept it cool. Bathroom/ shower room ample size and more than satisfactory. Kitchen had everything as described, which includes the washing machine. We spent 99% of our time outside either in the garden or under the spacious veranda. No issue with WiFi. Keels supermarket 4 min walk away which has everything you might need. Good local food outlets, and we have tried them all in the past 2 years with no problems. Best find was Crepe Runner which is well worth the 10min stroll. Felt safe and secure with Velu on hand for anything you might need, together with Chaminder who will pop round at least twice a day, to check that everything is fine. Would have no hesitation staying again.

We booked Andy’s property for a colleague visiting from overseas, and she had a wonderful stay. The home was safe, comfortable, and she absolutely loved it. Andy was incredibly helpful and responsive to anything we needed, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

Excellent property nestled in between Bandaragama and Panadura. If you’re planning to taken the highway towards the South, this is a great stopover point as the property is about 20 minutes away from the Galanigama exit to E1 motorway. The property itself was great size, and the interior was beautifully furnished. All the necessary modern amenities were there, including a car porch. The hosts were very friendly and I’d definitely come back if I’m visiting the area

Very comfortable. Noise from construction in the area. A problem during the day not at night. Barking dog in the neighbourhood. Seemed to stop late at night. High vehicular traffic.

We had a wonderful three night stay at Hemashanthi Latha’s place. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Hemashanthi and her daughter greeted us with warm smiles and a refreshing king coconut, which was such a thoughtful and welcoming gesture. The house was exactly as described. superb, spotlessly clean, and incredibly peaceful. It felt more like a home than just a place to stay. The surroundings were private and serene, making it a perfect escape within the city. All the facilities in the house were well maintained and convenient. We especially appreciated the ample parking space and the ease of coming and going at any hour without any issues. A special mention goes to their lovely dog, who added an extra layer of warmth to our stay. Such a friendly and beautiful furry companion. This is my third time staying at Yas's place. First 02 times I was traveling Solo but this time came with my wife. Self and wife had a great stay here! The host was extremely helpful right from booking all the way to check out, always checking up on us through messages to see if we had any problems, and always replying promptly. she had been really prompt in communication Short walk to local supermarket and Tuk Tuk stand. Local amenities include pharmacy, Restaurants and take away shops all within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Sri Lanka. would recommend the place for everyone who comes to this part of Colombo.

This house is in an excellent location of Colombo. It’s closely to many good restaurants and cafes. The house is very cosy and can be enjoyed by both families and business people alike. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

This is a newly built, beautiful and modern little place conveniently located very close to Homagama town. The surrounding is peaceful and private. The host was solid and very responsive. He was very attentive and flexible and tends to your needs. The house is comfortable and beautiful and fitted with all the amenities needed. Highly recommend this place!

An absolutely delightful stay at Bright & Airy Second Floor Home! Nadee was an exceptional host, and my husband and I had a truly wonderful stay at her 'Bright & Airy Second Floor Home' for several days. From the moment we booked, communication was fantastic. We had a midnight flight, and I reached out to Nadee to ask for a very late checkout, hoping for 10 p.m. She was incredibly flexible and understanding, and to our delight, she granted our request free of charge! This made such a huge difference to our last day and travel experience. The apartment itself is lovely. The views from our room and the private terrace were absolutely amazing – perfect for enjoying morning coffee or an evening unwind. The kitchen is incredibly well-equipped, which was a huge plus for us as we enjoy cooking, and we were even provided with free gas!
