Retrostyle of the 70s in a Danish vacation home: This is something different and we liked it very much. Nevertheless, you don't have to do without any comfort at Morten and Mette Marie's (such as Wi-Fi, streaming TV, sound system, modern kitchen appliances or air conditioning). Highly recommended!

Our family spent a week at this great place in the middle of nature. It is very quiet and the house is lovingly furnished with everything you need. The beach can be reached in max. 10 min and (in August) very quiet. The contact with Helle and Tuf was friendly and straightforward. We highly recommend the place.

Great place! We really enjoyed our stay

We had a great stay ar Esbens place, and when we wrote Esben was very quick to respond. Theplace had plenty of utensils for cooking indooror out. Very well furnished with an instant homely feel to it. We were 5 adults and two dogs and there was plenty of space, weather was warm enough we could eat in the lovely back patio surrounded by hanging vines(like a Greek taverna). Once on the island it is very easy to find and there are some wonderful walks to be had, cafe’s to visit and if you like Holbæk is only 25 minutes on the ferry. All in all i would say Esbens place is one of the best Air B&Bs we have used.

We had a super nice weekend at Mia's summerhouse. The house was incredibly cozy and homely and contained all the amenities we needed to cozy and cook lovely food. Both inside and outside there were lovely nooks to stay in. We hope we can come back next year. Communication with Mia was easy and efficient. Great recommendation!

We were in the house with 2 families including 4 children over the turn of the year and we enjoyed it very much. The house is very cozy and clean and is very quiet overlooking the green. Perfect for a relaxed family time, very close to the sea and by car you can reach beautiful Copenhagen in 60 minutes. The kitchen is very well equipped and the fireplace, sauna and garden are other plus points. I'm sure we'll be back :)

This is the second time we borrow Stella's nice house for a weekend to relax completely in beautiful surroundings. And even though it was January and cold outside, the house was cozy and warm. Delicious with a wood-burning stove on the long, dark days. Would definitely recommend this home 😊✨

Peaceful family house, recommended for families especially.

Lovely cottage which had everything we needed and with many cozy nooks both inside and outdoors. Lots of lovely facilities for children, including small swimming pool pool, play shed and toys. The house is in a nice location , about 30 min walk (5 min by bike/car) from nice nature conservation area with beach. The local spar, fish shop and strawberry farm are also not far away. A little dust and dirt here and there, but it belongs in most summer houses. Nice and easy contact with the host Pernille, who put the key in the key box with code.

We loved our stay at Martins place, and took advantage of great features like the hot tub, fire pit, and proximity to the Fjord. We were 13 people (the max of the property). Although there were enough beds, the downside was some other aspects (especially the small under counter fridge, and no freezer) were not really big enough for 13 people, especially over 4 days. Something to keep in mind if looking for a place for a large group. However, we had perfect weather and the garden is fantastic so we had lots of space in that sense. Martin was also super helpful and responsive.

We recently had the most wonderful summer break staying at this lovely, peaceful cottage in Melby. From the moment we walked in the front door, we felt ourselves relax. The cottage is beautifully decorated, kitchen is super well equipped and the beds are very comfortable - easily sleeping our 2 families. Outside, we loved using the pool, snoozing in the hammock and eating on the expansive deck in front of the outdoor fireplace. The cottage is a 10-15min walk to a pretty local beach and a short drive (or bike ride) to the pretty Liseleje Beach. Lots of fantastic restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Christian and Pernille were brilliant hosts - easy to communicate with, always responsive and gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area. Thanks for a truly fabulous stay!

It's a very cozy house. We enjoyed our stay. The sauna can fit 2/3 people comfortably, but more than that is too tight. The location is great, it's at the same time private and also close to grocery stores, the beach, and coffee shops.

We had a delightful stay. Kim is a very responsive and helpful host, and the house was clean and equipped with everything you might need for your stay. We were impressed by the attention to detail. It’s a quiet neighbourhood with beautiful surroundings. Would recommend having a car, but we managed it all on public transport and the handy bikes at the house. The only confusing bit was the light switches that took some finding! If you’re looking for a comfy space an hour outside of Copenhagen, this is a great place.

We felt very comfortable in the quiet forest location. It's all there, what you need. I especially enjoyed the outside in the patio and in the hammock. And I did a nice evening by bike - thank you for letting us use the bikes. Ditte was very accessible and responded to any questions - thank you for that.

Friendly and welcoming host who welcomed us from the start with hospitality. Here we felt really comfortable, with all the amenities the place offered. This place puts the tip of what Airbnb offers in its best version. The home was privately located without being isolated and the home and outdoor setting were decorated beautifully. There were circles for unique details that made both the home and surroundings go together in a higher level. The outdoor living room gives the home an extra delicate place to stay, Ellen has decorated with lots of beautiful plants. This place is really worth a recommendation, the whole family felt a special gratitude for having experienced this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Stela’s place! The house was cozy, clean, and beautifully located — perfect for a peaceful Easter getaway. Stela was a kind and responsive host, making everything easy from start to finish. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

We felt very welcome in the house. Not only was the house preheated and we were surprised with a little New Year's Eve decor. We were also allowed to use the firewood and we didn't miss anything in the equipment. We were able to immerse ourselves in the Danish coziness in our getaway. Many thanks for this.

Great communication before and during stays. Easy to find both house and lockbox. Nice summerhouse with everything we needed. As described on the listing page, it didn't include a TV, which we solved easily by bringing a computer screen ourselves. Possibility of walking and/or running to the beach as well as shopping a short drive away. We were happy to be able to celebrate New Year in the summer house in quiet surroundings and with the opportunity to bring our four-legged friend 🐶

This is the second time I have rented from Pernille, and the house is just in elk perfect walking distance to the most beautiful sandy beach, beautiful forest, nature playground, ice house, etc. At the same time, the house has everything you need and the garden is so big that you don't have to go outside the land register at all. Driving distance to Hundested, Gilleleje, Troldeskoven, etc. My favorite place to go on holiday with a dog, due to the large fenced garden and short walking distance to the most delicious Dog Forest. Pernille is an impeccable host who is always helpful in answering various questions, etc.

Marianne’s house was the perfect place to stay and each member of our party expressed their sadness when it was time to leave. We created some wonderful family memories during our visit. The home was clean, comfortable and had a beautiful patio. We were welcomed into the home before we even arrived with thoughtful messages and drinks in the fridge upon our arrival. I would eagerly stay again and highly recommend.

We spent our Easter time off in Jeppe’s summerhouse. We cannot recommend it enough! The house itself has everything you need - you quickly feel like you wish that you could live here for longer. The garden was a delight (and the sun made it really shine!) There was even a grill which we could use. Jeppe very quickly gave us the feeling this was our home, and it felt like it. The area is very quiet - and we could hike quite quickly to a small town that had a supermarket and cute little cafes for a cute change of scenery. We’d love to come back again! (If Denmark is somehow cheaper we’d probably come sooner rather than later)
