Great excursion destinations around the house. Our family of 7 had a wonderful Christmas together here! Everything was beautifully decorated and welcoming and our hosts were lovely. Great space and location for a quiet retreat and not too far from Regensburg. Definitely need a car for transportation. Would stay again for sure.

The home is exactly as it is pictured, and is well apportioned with everything you need and only a short drive to nearby villages and shops. Richard & Monika are excellent hosts that are not only incredibly responsive, but go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and assist with any other needs that may arise. This was a great holiday home. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Quite a historic building, situated in a village setting, the house had a few quirks but these just added to the character. Because of unseasonal weather we needed to light a fire to warm up during part of our stay - ample firewood was provided, and the fire was very easy to manage and kept the place nice and warm. The surroundings are pleasant and the nearby town of Geiselhöring has good facilities including a choice of supermarkets and a petrol station. Straubing, a little further away, is a nice place to visit and you can go and watch the Straubing Tigers ice hockey team! Trains from Geiselhöring station can get you to Munich, Nuremberg and even Salzburg without driving for a reasonable cost if you get a Bayern-Ticket. The host was very friendly and considerate, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

Wolfgang's apartment is highly recommended. Ideally located for our purposes (business trip to Frankfurt), so we only had to leave the motorway for a short time. Nevertheless, the apartment is very quiet, which was also very important to us. Easy to reach and uncomplicated check-in.

The yard and apartment were exactly what we were looking for. The apartment was well equipped, nicely located and the hosts super friendly, warm and easily accessible. We felt immediately welcome. The large outdoor area with sandbox, trampoline, swing, slide, football goals, and, and, and... delighted us very much. And the icing on the cake was the animals. Our offspring could never get to the 3 cats quickly enough. There are many excursion destinations in the area, such as Waldwipfelweg, summer toboggan run, hiking trails, etc. Thank you for everyone, it was great! We will be happy to come back!

I used the accommodation for a total of 5 weeks for professional reasons. Roland was always very friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. I have already received all the necessary information such as the locations within the holiday village, parking and tips for various activities in the area in great detail in advance. Check-in went smoothly and flexibly via a key box right next to the apartment door. The modern, tastefully furnished apartment corresponded exactly to the description and pictures. All important utensils for everyday needs were available. I felt totally comfortable from the first day and can definitely recommend the apartment.
