The Waldnest is a beautiful cottage in the Bavarian Forest for a wonderfully quiet weekend for two. Everything is as shown in the pictures, beautiful excursion destinations and a great view. A peaceful and quiet retreat in a very beautiful surrounding. The apartment has everything you need on a daily basis. We rented it for 5 month and had a really good time throughout the summer. Lovely cities nearby such as Passau, Walkirchen and other little towns. Walking into the Czech Republik takes 30 minutes and driving towards Austria it takes only 20 minutes. Overall, we can highly recommend this location and apartment if you like the remote feel and nature. Very special thanks to Olga who was an excellent host.

We enjoyed the chalet very much. The facility was as described and the hosts were very nice and always easily accessible. We particularly liked the use of sauna and hot tub as well as the beautiful view of nature. We will be happy to come back again!

A really nice apartment in the heart of the Bavarian Forest. Especially the carefully furnished playroom was really enriching for the 2-year-old (and her parents). The apartment is very well and sensibly equipped - we didn't miss anything. The small town of Neuschönau offers a lot of gastronomy and next door there is a small Edeka and a bakery. A very nice place with personal charm. Always happy to come back!
