Monthly Rentals in Hiscott

We had a lovely stay, we were greeted by Jonathan and had a nice chat, on entering the cottage it was warm due to underfloor heating. On arrival there was a delightful cream tea which was a lovely touch from Johnathan and Susannah. The cottage was spacious and spotlessly clean, everything had been thought out for a visitors convenience. There are beautiful views all around and is very private. The walk to the river was beautiful and we spotted some wildlife which is always welcome, nice to know that the farm is organic and that it's well kept and loved throughout the family. Very pretty area and very good local pubs and shops. We were very pleased to find Henry Williamson's resting place in Georgeham's church (Tarka the Otter novel) that was indeed very special. Thank you once again for a delightful stay hope to see you next year😉

We had a second very comfortable stay.The nights were below freezing , but the cottage was warm and cosy from arrival. Highly recommend Prospect Cottage , it’s in a lovely village with the wonderful Bell inn a few steps away.

Wonderful place to stay- we slept very well and found the space ideal for us and the covered outdoor seating area was a real bonus. Lots of lovely thoughtful extras like azzero and ground coffee and eggs for breakfast! Claire and Brian were fantastic hosts, communicative and helpful. Would really recommend the woodland/ river walk very nearby which we did in the evenings, which was very clearly explained in the file provided. Hope to return next year

Convenient location, easy walk into town, nice little flat, well equipped kitchen. When wifi didn't work, it was fixed pretty quickly. All good!
