A really lovely cottage/farmhouse. Kept beautifully warm, well stocked wood for fireplace, and a gorgeous gift on arrival. Amazing communication with host throughout the booking/arrival/departure process. The place is beautiful. Thank you.

We had a great time at Dan's place and it was perfect for us. The accommodation itself is cosy, clean, well-equiped and comfortably accommodates 6 people. We also had access to a private garden and a patio overlooking the stunning landscape around the house. We were looking for some place to relax and Dan's house is in a tranquil location with stunning surroundings. We had some gorgeous walks starting from the house with no need to take the car or travel to the more touristic locations. Absolutely perfect for every age (our kids loved the place) and highly recommended. Dan was super accommodating and a five star host. Fully recommened if you don't mind staying away from shops and restaurants. Don't be put off by the remote location, it is definitely worth the drive.

I loved my extended stay at the Leyden Arms. I preferred to cook and stay in for evenings although I joined in the bar a couple times. I was very comfortable with the rooms, the peaceful environment, the easy drive to several areas of interest. Jan and family were very friendly and helpful, providing everything I needed and asking about my day and giving me great recommendations for things to do. I really had a most restful and enjoyable stay.

We loved our stay! Oliver and Kate are fantastic hosts. We were sent lots of useful information before our stay and check in was really easy. The accommodation is clean, purposeful and just a great space. The bed was really comfy and the upstairs living area was spacious and well-maintained. We loved the location too. It’s surrounded by gorgeous countryside and fields. Oliver and Kate were lovely and left us a lovely welcome package on arrival (which was very gratefully received!). We would highly recommend Oliver and Kate’s place. We hope to be back one day!
