Vacation rentals with breakfast in Hilversum

Jochem's place is, as others have said, whimsical and creative. He is the ultimate host, very generous with snacks, groceries, coffee, and wine (thank you!). It is clear that he has worked hard to create a unique environment. Here is our list of pros and cons: Pros: Communicative, responsive, kind and generous host Great, safe location - we walked everywhere in this beautiful city Very well stocked fridge, a bottle of wine as a welcome Great shower Nice, big bed Washer and dryer Cons: While Jochem has created nice "mood" lighting, it was somewhat dark for us, and particularly for a woman trying to put on makeup, fix hair, etc. There was absolutely no storage for our clothing, and being on a long trip, it was a challenge living out of suitcases on the floor. The toilet room sink is very tiny with only cold water, and we had to use the kitchen sink to wash up and brush our teeth. I could barely walk around the bed as it takes up most of the bedroom.

Our stay was a pleasant stay. We were with 4 adults. Ideal because there were 2 floors with 2 bathrooms etc. All amenities were provided. Coffee, tea, spa in the fridge Etc. Pleasant beds. Very neat bathrooms. And then the breakfast. We can only say one thing about it. Most hotels can learn from this. Just a lot of fresh and tasty. In short, a very strong recommendation as far as we are concerned. Maybe we'll come back

A lovely cottage in an unexpected green oasis. Very private with nice outside area. The sauna is a lovely extra. Very sweet that there is a breakfast in the fridge! And very nice that we are allowed to use the bikes. Good base for museums, beach and surroundings. We had a lovely weekend!

Joost and his wife are particularly welcoming. Their warm side helped make our stay familiar and friendly. Excellent bedding. Perfect cleanliness. Breakfast brought every morning with a smile was carefully prepared, good and hearty. This moment was an opportunity to chat a little with an open and caring couple. The apartment, easy to find - is extremely pleasant, well furnished, accessible and in a green and peaceful setting. The tram that takes us to the city center and the Museum district is a 3-minute walk and the trams are frequent. We didn't regret not being in the city center at all Everything was positive. We would recommend Joost and his wife's apartment without hesitation.

Had a perfect stay with Jessie and Johan. Communication in advance was clear and friendly and the property was exactly as described and we felt right at home there. Homely, fitting in the style of Volendam and wonderfully quiet. Breakfast was well cared for and everything was present. Absolutely recommended so for a stay in Volendam.

We had a wonderful stay at José's. She was flexible and very welcoming. The accommodation is very nice, very bright. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and hearty. And finally, the setting is exceptional: Vianen is a great place. I highly recommend that you visit Vianen via José!

place was wonderful, clean space which was exactly as described. it's very kid friendly with lots of toys and card games. the place was very cosy and homely

Cozy, spacious house with sauna and jacuzzi. The house is cozily furnished and in a quiet location. There is plenty of space to sit outside as well.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean and comfortable. The host was responsive, and made sure instructions were clear. The location was convenient and quiet, with easy access to shops and restaurants. It felt like a home away from home. I recommend this spot and would definitely stay here again. Overall, very good experience all around!

A wonderful, peaceful few days in this beautiful, antique-filled house. We felt so welcome and relaxed immediately after our long journey. Thank you so much for hospitality.

We loved our time in this artsy, welcoming and charming little spot! Lex and Sylvie were very responsive and helpful, checking in and also leaving some great nibbles in the kitchen (fruit, juice, yogurt, cheese, jam, butter and much more!) They also gave us a heads up about the Utrecht Pride event, which is not to be missed if you can be there for it. The boat parade goes right down the lovely canal right outside the door. We loved walking around the neighborhood, with great restaurants and bakeries. The apartment was the perfect space for our two adults and one teen and we took advantage of sitting out front along the canal every single day. It’s an older building and you can hear the floorboards upstairs but it was never an issue for sleeping because Lex and Sylvie didn’t seem to be night owls. I would love to come back someday!

Malo and Maarten were excellent hosts who met us on arrival and showed us around their very well-appointed and well-stocked home. Their place has everything you could possibly need or even think about needing such that we didn't even need to contact them for anything during our stay. The personal touches made it even better. We felt right at home in their beautifully designed home and were able to access the entire city easily from this location. We definitely recommend Blueprint B&B 100%!

What a nice place! We really enjoyed our stay with Ans and Anton. Their B&B was the perfect base for the wedding we were going to. And how sweet: when it was pouring out of the sky, Anton even brought us the car! The next morning we were spoiled with a delicious breakfast. Everything was taken care of to the last detail. Impressive building, cozy bed, lots of beautiful ancient details. The location is great, once across the less busy road and you are in the beautiful city center. Annelies greeted us, explained the parking lot and the house. She filled the refrigerator beforehand so that we could have breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and will be happy to come back! We had a very nice stay at B&B Hof van Wisch van Marieke and her partner! The communication and arrival went smoothly, the accommodation was completely fine (especially the warm kitchen and dining room) and the location on the edge of the historic center of Doesburg perfect. Perhaps the spacious and diverse breakfast that Marieke and her partner had prepared was still the biggest party. We enjoyed it in the morning and also made our lunch out of it, for while hiking. In short: highly recommended if you stay one night (or more) in beautiful Doesburg!

We felt very comfortable with Sharon and Djurre from the beginning. They are particularly friendly and approachable hosts and are helpful in every way and open to questions. The apartment is fully equipped and very comfortable due to a generous interior design. Every morning, Sharon prepared a lavish and very varied breakfast that we very much enjoyed. The location of the apartment is very convenient: You can easily and quickly reach many interesting places and tourist attractions from here. In short, we can warmly recommend the place to everyone. Elly and Simon's place was perfect for our 4 night stay. So nice to have a private little outside sitting area looking over the fields. Having the bikes was marvelous, we cycled to the beach through the forest (get Elly to give you directions) and stopped in the local towns for cafes, a fabulous lady day of the Keukenhof season, just a few minutes away by bike. We cycled along the peaceful, safe canal path to the Hillegom station to go to Haarlem for the day (and the train goes on to Amsterdam from there too). The bed was comfy, the shower was warm and clean and the wifi and TV worked fine. We used the aircon as is did get warm up in the loft bedspace but that was fine too, very quiet. The breakfast was fresh, tasty and plentiful. All in all it was a very well equipped and well located space with lovely hosts.

We had fantastic days again; we were allowed to stay here for a 2nd time, now in another season. The accommodation is very cozy and has everything you need (and much more) for a wonderfully relaxing stay in a truly beautiful setting, where there is a lot to do and see. Very nice owners and Bertina is an absolute top host in every way. Her fresh, healthy and varied breakfast is also not to be exceeded. T Veldhoentje gets a big 10 from us! We'd love to come back.

In a beautiful location is the house of Dirk-Jan, a very friendly host. You feel immediately welcome and he also provides a delicious breakfast with a toast during breakfast as the crowning glory :) From the house you can walk to Volendam, which we thought was ideal.

Irmi is a fantastic host and a great person. My room was exactly as per the photos and description. Irmi sent across useful information about transport in the area, and was always quick to reply to messages. Nice 20 minute walk to the local train station, with bus option also available from near the house to the station. Amsterdam centre only 20 minutes by train from there. Overall would highly recommend, thanks again for having me stay Irmi and for the lovely breakfasts!

We had a wonderful stay with Maurice! He is a very welcoming and attentive host, always ready to help optimize your travel plans so you can still visit everything you want, even if the weather changes. The location also offers excellent transport connections to Amsterdam, making it very convenient. We had a wonderful time and would definitely love to come back!
