NOTE: Hawaii GE-067-950-7968-02 & TA-067-950-7968-01 The rental is hosted & per Hawaii County Planning Dept exempt from Hawaii Cty Bill 108 so we may consider <30 day rentals as well as longer periods.

Hilo Downtown Retreat

The apartment is a self contained living space that is very well appointed with bespoke furniture, fittings and original art. It has all of its own amenities so you should want for nothing. It is located two minutes from downtown Hilo. If you want you can walk to everything, including; shops, restaurants, beaches, bars, yoga studios, gyms and so on. If you are over 5' 10" you will need to mind your head in a couple of places so please be aware of this. We are always looking to improve.

We are located between two of the Big Islands most iconic areas; Hawaii Volcano National Park and Hilo's beaches, approximately both a 20-minute drive from the studio. Our road to cottage can be rough,it is old blacktop that need to be replaced. We are asking county for help but no response.Road can be adventurous , but cottage is worth it. E Komo Mai

This property sits on Kalanianaole Park which is on Hilo Bay. Sit on the back porch and soak in the beautiful view. The Ice Pond is next door ( a local swimming spot) and connects to the ocean. Close to town, just 2 miles from the airport close to shopping and restaurants. We are in a busy area and there is noise but the location is convenient and the house is well equipped. If you are sensitive to noise this is not your house. If you want charm on the ponds of Hilo this is your house!
