Perfect weekend away in a little slice of heaven. The cottage itself was beautiful, clean, quiet and had all the facilities you could possibly want. Waking up every morning to birdsong and the sound of horses whinnying was a particular highlight. The grounds were beautiful and Amanda (and her family) were incredibly welcoming when we did meet them. A beautiful weekend and next time we are in Somerset, we’d love to return

Beautiful and fun accommodation. I stayed with my 11 year old for some quality mum and daughter time and was joined by a couple of friends (so 3 adults and one child) which was probably the maximum number that can be accommodated. Lots of fun and relaxing spaces within an enclosed and private space. There is no TV which was perfect. All our time was spent outdoors within the accommodation (playing ball games) or exploring the local area. Lots of pubs in walking distance! The BBQ hut is a great facility, not just for cooking but for gathering in the evening when the weather dipped! We didn’t get a chance to use the Swiss hot tub but looked great! Sally is a great host. I was able to check in slightly earlier which was a great help. Sally was very attentive to my little girl, providing a go-kart for her to use throughout our stay and offering to take her to meet her horses. We unfortunately didn’t get a chance as it was a short stay. Overall…highly recommend. A perfect stay and host!

Great location, quiet but just a short walk into the centre of Taunton. Beautiful apartment with everything and more that you would need for a short or long stay. Hopefully we will be back.

We wished we could have stayed longer. Lovely cottage and pretty country location. The garden was ideal for a dog as it was safely fenced around. My dog was incredibly happy sniffing around the area when we were outside sitting at the garden table. We didn't have time to use the Jacuzzi although it looked very inviting. Would recommend to other dog owners or walkers alike!
