I can’t speak highly enough about this property and also Ashling, the Host. I arrived with my five-year-old daughter and we both loved the property. Ashling was an amazing host, not only personally checking us in, but also checking during our two day stay that everything was okay. Little touches like having a pint of milk in the fridge were just so incredibly thoughtful and also helpful. I will definitely be going back!

We loved our stay. James was wonderful, helped us find a pub still serving food when we arrived late from the airport. Much appreciated the well stocked kitchen. Easy walk into Henley. Would definitely stay again.

We spent a very happy Christmas here as a family of 13. There's plenty of space for three generations to spread out, with two sitting rooms plus a large kitchen, and the entire house is beautifully styled and in pristine condition. All bedrooms were very comfortable and we appreciated the two fold-out beds so four young cousins could share the large twin room. The outdoor hot tub and table tennis were a hit, although we spent more time by the log burner (remember to take logs with you, we had to order some from Amazon!). Having read other reviews I was quite worried about the noise monitor with six excitable kids opening presents, but as per Emily's reassurance in the run-up to our stay, it wasn't an issue. The only slight challenge we had was the size of the fridge and freezer, both on the small side for the capacity of the house (plus obviously we had a lot of food for Christmas). Handy to take a cool box and keep drinks outside. Overall, a wonderful base for a family get together.
