Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Highland Council

We had a great holiday in Alison’s. The house is comfortable. The situation, close to Eilean Donan Castle, is wonderful. It is a great location for hill walking and for exploring the Northwest Highlands and Skye. Alison was very friendly and helpful.

Pebble Cottage is perfect. Great location, everything is close at hand and it is extremely clean. It has a really comfortable bed too. Just what you need for a great nights sleep after a day at the beach. Would most definitely stay again!

Sandy’s place was located perfectly! It was a quick easy walk to the city center where there were plenty of restaurants and shops. It was also walkable to the bus tours. The place was clean well outfitted and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was perfect for our stay with a family of seven. The kids loved the spacious lounge and plenty of places including garden to play games. The carved wood features made the house feel homely and comfortable including large table for family dinners. The view was breathtaking every day and it was easy to do walks from the house around the coast or into surrounding hills. Definitely recommended for a fantastic holiday on Skye.

This was a great base for us when doing a big bike ride in Inverness, only about 20 minutes walk from town but in a really quiet street and just a few minutes away from the canal, which is also really nice for a walk. It's all very clean, neat and tidy inside, really just like the pictures and everything works; one thing to be aware of is that the property has a hot water tank rather than a combi boiler, as we were used to, so if someone has a really long shower or bath, you might have to wait for the tank to heat back up again. What the pictures don't show are the wide open views across the city and countryside from the upstairs windows, which was a nice surprise. Communications from Darren were friendly, helpful and gave us all the information we needed. We would definitely stay again if back in the area.

I booked Cardon house for my friends Hen do! It was in such a lovely location, surrounded by woodland. There was lots of space outdoors and seating areas to sit outside. Indoors was lovely, ample space for larger parties to stay. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfy. The lounge area was lovely, it was very spacious and had lots of seating. It was great for hosting the hen party games and being able to sit together. There was a lovely wood burner which unfortunately we did not get a chance to use but would be great for in the winter. The kitchen and dining area was open plan and spacious and there was a large table for all of us to sit. It’s about a 15/20 min drive by taxi, which we used to travel into Inverness. Taxi was able to find Cardon house promptly and easily. Caroline was responsive when I asked her questions regarding the stay and we got to meet her when we checked out. She was welcoming and asked about our stay. We did not want to leave. Very happy bride to be!

This is probably the best airbnb we have stayed in. It has everything you could want and more. Very clean, well supplied and well presented. Very easily walkable from the centre of Avirmore and easy access to the Cairngorms and surrounding areas. Great storage for outdoor equipment and dog friendly, including towels and bowls. Will definitely return. Thanks Heather.

We had a great stay at Amanda's place. See provided great instructions for getting to and accessing the flat. It was a great location right on the river. Since I traveled with my dad, it was great to have 2 bedrooms, so we both had privacy, as well as each having our own bathroom. Amanda was wonderful in providing helpful items like cereal, milk, bread, butter, jam and coffee. The flat was walkable to several restaurants and everything was clean and comfortable. The beds were especially super comfortable! I would absolutely not hesitate to stay at Amanda's flat again.

This was a phenomenal stay in Inverness. Walkable to all downtown restaurants shops and Ness Island walking trails and parks. Shirt druves to Loch Ness and surrounding tourist attractions. The place was beautiful right down to the fixtures and finishing touches. The hosts went out of their way to help me with a travelling problem I encountered, which they really did not have to do. I am so appreciative and grateful for my stay here!

The house is absolutely gorgeous and exactly as described. It was perfect for us and our little dog. The house is spotless and all the furnishings are to a very high standard The garden is shared but perfect to enjoy. The house is less than 10 minutes walk to town so a perfect location to explore Inverness from. Would definitely recommend this beautiful house

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—close to local shops, restaurants, and public transit, making it super convenient to explore the area. The space itself was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated, giving it a cozy and welcoming feel. We especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and fast Wi-Fi, which made it easy to relax and feel at home. The host was responsive and made check-in a breeze. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! The only issue we had was the temperature of the heating, it would get a bit cold in the morning.

A cozy apartment in a beautiful city. You feel like you're staying in town for a short time. Ideal for exploring Inverness and close to various shops

Amazing little place - an absolute gem! Perfect escape and handy for where I was working. Couldn’t have asked for a better host. Short commute to Inverness (30 mins) for wide range of shops etc if you wanted more to do too.

It was a nice stay. We were traveling with a baby and they prepared a baby cot for us, very sweet. The window is directly facing the water, it’s beautiful to look out.

An excellent, comfortable, self contained flat, imaculate and well presented. Great views from the property. Plenty to do nearby and good access to Cairngorms and furher afield. Day trips to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Inverness all possible. Mairi and her husband helpfull hosts with a good knowledge of the locality.

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! The space was absolutely spotless - meticulously (and I mean meticulously) clean and beautifully presented in every detail. The accommodation is finished to an incredibly high standard. It truly felt like a home away from home. Sam, the host, was amazing, from the initial booking to arriving on site, so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I had an absolutely amazing stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described—if not better. We felt welcome and comfortable throughout our time there. One of the highlights for me was getting to spend time with their adorable dogs😍🫠 They were so friendly and sweet—If you’re an animal lover, you might get chance to see them :) that’s just the cherry on top! I can’t recommend this place enough and would happily stay here again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

What an incredible place to stay! From the moment you arrive and drive up the pristine driveway, you know you're in for a treat. The check-in process was seamless, and I immediately felt at home. This location is perfect for exploring Glencoe. We were also thrilled that Mairi was able to accommodate us for an extra night at another apartment, which maintained the same high-quality standards as our first stay. If you have the chance to book Skyfall, don’t hesitate—it's truly a wonderful experience!

Great spot

We had a lovely stay at Facundo's place. It is so clean, a wonderful location right on the beach and with easy access to all the sites of the Black Isle.

We had a great stay here! The place was comfortable and well-located, with easy access to local shops and restaurants, which made everything really convenient. Stephen was a great host—very responsive and even offered us an extra hour for late check-out, which we appreciated (though we didn’t end up needing it). Just a heads up for future guests: off-street parking isn’t permitted at the property, but there’s a nearby solution—Library car park is just around the corner and worked out fine for us. All in all, a pleasant and easy stay.

Excellent location, so close to the town but still quiet surroundings. Beautiful views and plenty room for parking outside. Flat is clean and cosy, and Marion made check in very easy with clear communication.
