This is a cosy pod set in a large lochside garden with amazing sea and mountain views directly on your doorstep. Pod is private (despite being in a garden). Own access and private garden down to Lochside . Pod is very well equipped with everything you need. You will love the views and the sealife and birds on the Loch. Suitable for wild water swimming and kayaking. We are a short drive to the Isle of Skye, Eilean Donan Castle, Glenelg Ferry There is parking in a shared driveway for a car.

We had a fantastic time at Loch Leven Chalets! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a very warm welcome from our host Sam. They were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always available to answer any questions and provide excellent local tips and recommendations. The location of the chalets is simply stunning. Nestled in a picturesque setting, we enjoyed breathtaking views of the lake. The peace and tranquility were exactly what we were looking for in a relaxing getaway. We highly recommend Loch Leven Chalets to anyone seeking a comfortable and memorable stay in Scotland.

this was a return visit for our family, we love the local area and the accommodation is ideal as it's next to the water for kayaking and near good walking routes. The house is very well fitted out, the kitchen easily accommodated all of us and we had all we needed to self cater. The rooms are comfortable and are all now en suite, which is great. We also liked the living room and fire in the evenings. We will very definitely be back! With extra thanks to Rebecca who was very responsive and helpful.

Ishbel and Angus were lovely hosts, providing a friendly welcome, showing us around the property and local tips of where to visit. Although close by the property still benefits from its own privacy with the hosts easily available if you need them. The property is beautifully finished, feeling almost brand new. The setup worked really well for our family of four. The open plan kitchen, dining and lounge looks out to the loch and connects the two fair sized bedrooms. The view is quite stunning, we couldn’t get enough of it, looking out through the windows, from the hot tub or on a stroll along the loch on the beach. We were lucky enough to see seals, dolphins, plenty of sea birds and some jellyfish on our stay. The location of the property is great. We made use of a couple of good long walks nearby, visited Corrieshalloch Gorge which is fun and drove to Ullapool a few times which has good local food and shops on offer. We would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate in rebooking.

We can’t fault our stay at the Otter Hide. Frank Linda and Eddy were so welcoming and super helpful when our luggage was lost by our airline. The cabin is beautifully designed, thought out really well, stylishly decorated and so comfortable and cosy after a day’s hiking. The views out of the front are spectacular. We had such a relaxing stay and would 100% come back and recommend.

Jeantown cottage is a lovely traditional cottage in a beautiful location - faces right across the loch. The interior is very roomy and comfortable with everything you need. Jan left a basket of welcome essentials and goodies which was much appreciated! There was also a selection of cooking essentials, cleaning & washing materials/shower gel left for guest use. The garden is delightful - it's like a magical woodland fairy glen! It's steeply banked (not suitable for the disabled or infirm) and full of woodland trees and pretty shrubs. There is a little stream at the top where water comes down from the hill. There's a sheltered wooden deck with chairs, where all you can hear are the birds and running water. The cottage is close to several cafes and restaurants and a very well stocked convenience store. This also sells some hot food and has a great selection of fresh produce. We had a super few days here - plenty to do in this area or just relax and enjoy beautiful Locharron!

We had an amazing time at East Lodge & Shona was an amazing & helpful host. We felt right at home the moment we entered the property. Although we had a couple of issues finding the property due to arriving later than we anticipated and working out the heating, Shona was there to reply to our messages straight away and sort any issues we had. It is a perfect location if you want to travel to different areas of the Highlands and explore. We would love to visit again. Thank you for an amazing stay Shona.
