Our converted coach house offers a cosy corner in the busy village of Downton from which to visit the historic cathedral city of Salisbury and the open spaces of the New Forest. Parts of the property date back to 1475 with links to the Bishops of Winchester. There is plenty on offer in and around the village, with local shops, gardens, pubs, walks and bicycle rides along the River Avon. Bournemouth beaches are not far away. The annexe has all you need for basic self catering with a comfortable double bedroom. A third person can be accommodated on the sofa bed in the kitchen/dining room. We're centrally located in the village, close to three pubs serving excellent food and shops selling all the basic necessities. A welcome pack with tea, coffee, sugar and milk will be provided for your arrival. Our village bakery offers lovely fresh bread and the well-stocked co-op is open until 10pm most days.
