Monthly Rentals in High Ireby

It was a very wonderful place to stay with beautiful surroundings. Easy to get really nice instructions. The host was really nice as well. Overall everything was brilliant!

We absolutely loved our stay at Ruthwaite Farm. The property is large, spacious and very peaceful. Although the property is large, the design and furnishing means it still feels very cosy and homely. I particularly loved the sofa on the landing area upstairs with views of the mountains. The kitchen is large and very well equipped. There is a large dining table with a big ordnance survey map of the Lake District behind which was extremely helpful (much easier than laying a map out on the table!) and a personal touch that I loved :). The village location is so peaceful and idyllic, and means you get a taste of real Lake District life away from some of the more touristy areas. David is a great host - the most friendly, helpful and responsive host of all airbnbs I have stayed at.

Perfect cottage for our 2 night stop-over on our way up to Scotland. Rural location, very peaceful, which is what we wanted. Great enclosed garden for the dog.

We had a great stay, definitely helped by the weather. Bassenthwaite is a great location to explore lots of the northern and western lakes and tick off more wainwrights for us. We had a lovely meal at the village pub just around the corner and enjoyed sitting by the stream. The place is very homely and has a very well equipped kitchen to self cater. We’d definitely recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay
