Monthly Rentals in Hett

We enjoyed our stay in the cottage, it was a great space and we had everything we needed. It was lovely to have the lights on to welcome us and some very sweet Christmas touches, which were beyond what we expected. I should have gotten in touch with Rita re directions for the place as they don't come through. The postcode leads you to the right place, but it wasn't clear when we got there... But that was my fault. The space was great, a very cosy place to stay and relax in and really accessible (by car) for walks and getting to Durham. I had 4 teens with me and we all loved it. The beds were very comfy and the decor and linens were really nice too. Thank you! We enjoyed our stay! 😊

My family, myself, wife and 16 year old son, stayed her last week - Saturday to Wednesday. Gorgeous premises. Lovely hosts and very helpful. The house is right on the river so we did a spot of fishing. We went into Durham twice for dinner and found some lovely restaurants - taxis were circa £10 each way which is fine. We cooked one night and all of the equipment we needed was there for us to use. We also had a take away delivered so a bit of everything. Beds were very comfy and the decor is very very nice and of a high quality. If you want somewhere to stay that gives you loads of options from literally just switching off and staying in all the way through to being out all of the time and using it as somewhere to rest your head - to be honest, we wanted to spend time in the house as it was so gorgeous. WiFi was spot on meaning I could catch up on some work and there are 3 tv’s (1 in each bedroom and 1 in the living room). Highly recommended and thanks for having us.

We had a great stay here for a long weekend. The house was exactly as described and was really clean. It had a high chair which was a bonus as we forgot our booster seat, lovely little welcome treat left as well.

Visited Bishop Auckland for the weekend to see some old friends and stayed at Gary’s Apartment. The flat was lovely and felt very homely. Close to the main street where the majority of the pubs and restaurants are so everything was in perfect walking distance. I would definitely stay again. Gary’s hosting skills were brilliant and he was very helpful to any questions i had. 10/10!
