“The cabin is nestled in a stunning location below the high cliffs and close to the Brazos River. It has a warm and welcoming ambiance.... perfect for relaxation, preparing and enjoying dinners, and exploring nature’s bounty. It has a rustic beauty and well equipped. Deer were plentiful and we enjoyed the gray squirrels and small rabbits frolicking on the property. The birds became our symphony and it was fun to observe woodpeckers perched on the Aspens. This is an ideal escape during a pandemic or any other time! Don is a great host and made us feel very welcome!”
This gorgeous house is a secluded 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom country home with private pond nestled in the base of the stunning Canones Creek Valley. Relax on the porch or dock and enjoy sprawling views of 75 private acres of magnificent mountain valley.
“This house is out in the country yet not that far from Chama. There are many things to do in the area, but also difficult to leave this house as it was so peaceful and enjoyable. The beds were the best I've seen in a rental. Everything was just great. I wouldn't mind just staying at the house and not going anywhere, maybe actually read a book!”

The view is absolutely amazing, and there are deck chairs and an umbrella for shade. The village is quiet and the cabin is a nice walk to the river. It is only seven or eight miles off the highway, but deer abound, and one evening, we even saw a bear ambling down the road! We would love to return to this place!”
